Kriss, have you been to the himayat sagar area? I have only seen the pictures so not too sure how it is in real now. Anyone who has seen it recently should be able to help us better.

Yes there was a g2g happened here, after a drag meet. I remember few of them here were present on that day.

Does any body remember the drag session we had on the ORR at APPA ??

@biker cat: I agree 100% with Yaser. Cosmetic modding would make you look like a poser&moreover it is very short lived. I suggest you try to restore your Classic Pulsar to the stock form, or get a new bike, whichever suits your budget.
Inspite of that if you want to mod your bike's looks, I have come across 2 places which are well reputed in cosmetic modding:
1. Poona Automobiles, Koti
2. Bikez Zone or something like that on Minister Road

Yes, I think I remeber that ORR drag meet was like one of our first drag meets before we moved the venue to the dragstrip. I think Satish's RTR was pretty new then - rite?

So shall we freeze on Himayathsagar?

and there is a plce which expertises in the cd100 -> hayabusa kind of mods just after u cross the nalgonda cross roads,got a quatation of 11k for my frnds pulsar for a complete cosmetic change to make it look like a sbk...
do that if u wanna sell it after that,cause the engine will get completely screwed...but if u wanna take a look at it we can go and u can see for ur self,he's got some neat copper style bike too...

but as every oneelse suggested,doing the engine work and replacing some old plastics with new ones will be the best choice,but if u r looking for a new bike,then no point in doing the engine,sell it the way it is....

Guys thanks to every one.(DoGG, SAM and every one) who helped me. those are really valuable advices. I wish i cuold join you this week. but I got a long weekend and am going tom y home(anantapur). If i miss it i wont be getting another in next 2 or 3 months . so probably i will join you guys next weekend.

As I mentioned in my earlier post, there is a small trial off-road of around 1km. I think one can finish this thing in 5-10 min. But the tricky part is that it rained and that will pose a quite a challenge. I think you can do it only if you are prepared to fall in the slush. Also on my previous visit, I did not venture further, so I dont know what lies in store there up ahead.

@kriss - anna when i said off road, i meant somewhere in the city where we can drag for some time, try some stunts and have a a nice chat as we did with B2L. i might come for the meet to meet up with u guys as its been long time, need to meet riaz bhai, u, lohit and others who were not able to make it for the Dindi dam and the B2L G2G thing. i am more off now obsesed with stuntuing.

Anna, a small suggestion. as you guys are planning for the Kuntala falls meet the next week, can we do the drag and stunts thing this week please. I ahd to take special permission from my director to get sat/sun off's (cos i was missing most of the meets)

@riaz bhai - we are still not abel to finalise the meeting spot for the G2G. so i though KBR will be a good one. Now though not officially, that DOMAIN now belongs to xbhp Hyderabad
