The Official Hyderabad Offline Meet(G2G) Thread

It was supposed to be Reliance Dhaba, but we went there directly on the Shamshabad day. So, we may have one towards end of September.


I also got a call, its a drag race, similar to the previous ones.
My question is: Is there a stock category or will the modded bikes also be joining in?
If other R15 members are joining, I don't mind going. Rs.200 is pretty reasonable&I have riding gear too.

Due to my tailbone problem&Cheedhu's dental surgeries, we had to change the plans a bit: The tentative list of rides from now, till September/October is as follows, confirmation would be done a couple of days before the ride:

1. August 29th: One day ride to NagarjunaSagar&Ethipothala Waterfalls, 350 km.approx.round trip.

2. September 12th: One day ride to Srisailam&Dindy Dam, 500km.round trip.

3. September 26th/27th: Brunch G2G ride to Reliance Dhaba on NH7&Narsapur Lake to discuss about long ride on October 2nd!

4. October 2nd-5th: 4 day ride to some destination. old plan of Maharashtra dropped out due to swine flu, considering Vizag&Araku.

5. Bidar&Singur Dam tentative in October.

@rahul9985: Cheedhu is having a series of dental surgeries&Amar is out of town till Sep 1st, so we have to wait till 5th to tour.
We will still try to do the planned ones in September.

so sad.. we'll make it for sure in september..

@ALL: Hold on !!! I have ordered 100 stickers... for all of us. Payment has been done. It will couried tommorow, and it would reach me by end of wednesday at any cost.

I don't think ordering so many stickers is a good move. Please do not give stickers to everyone. If someone needs a sticker he needs two referrals from the old members about his safe riding and adhering to rules habits.

We definitely don't want to see bikes with xBhp stickers creating havoc / posing / ripping on streets / banging into vehicles and people and such stuff regularly.

I am glad to have an xBhp sticker on my bike and the last thing I want from that is poser value. And then, I definitely don't want a situation where I might be pointed out as an xBhp member and considered to be a rash or idiotic rider if I am stuck in an incident. The sticker should gather help for me from a fellow biker or even better - from cops as a positive note that xBhp guys ride safe.

I believe most of you guys agree with me here. At the same time, I don't mean to say the new guys are not safe riders or what so ever. But I know there are some and to avoid those some people we have to be a little stricter with such things. Otherwise we all will be considered as morons on the road.

i agree with u totally.. i would be happy to get the stickers if i deserve them.. but i also want them asap ..

Started off with stickers... haleem g2g.. and now ananthagiri (yuck).


I feel no changes should be there in plan., unless if majority wants to head to anantagiri rather than haleem g2g.



Haleem g2g should be in the morning and gang going towards anatagiri can eat and leave.

And short list among these places below

2. Some place at mehadipatnam
3. Cafe bahar


BTW.. People can pickup their stickers on the haleem g2g day if its on morning. If evening.. i doubt.

a drag in rains would be awesome.. but we need a very safe stretch for it.. and i wonder where we can find it

As far as the haleem g2g is concerned, haleem is freshly prepared in the day time and it will be available from evening. So it is better if we reach the place by 7pm so that we can get fresh haleem.

dude, chillax and take rest. Stay away from rides till you are back as healthy as a horse. Sitting pillion in a crouched position WILL strain your knees and you wouldnt want to do that. You could join up for the evening Haleem meet. You could take an auto or pillion up if there is someone nearby.
