Hey guys, my marriage is fixed now with my girl friend(my college sweetheart) , its on 28th Nov. my buddy booo (aka Raghu), Ravi Anna aka Ravi@17Bhp and KP anna Aka hydbiker they already knew it,

And its a open invitation for all of you(my biking buddies)......the marriage is on 28th Nov it is at Sai brindavan.....10 Kms after crossing Mount Opera...to be precise after crossing Nizam College of engneering

belive me its a short long ride and a lil bit of off roading(the venue)!!!

@RAGZ you must be knowing Shravani from MPE (from our college)!!! she is the one!!!!

would like to meet you at a G2G and personally invite you all, though i am one of the most oldest keen biker on HYD Xbhp, i am might be new to lot of new bikers here !!

The route via Manali will not be open in the month of April & May.

It gets opened mainly in mid of June, a lot depends on the weather also.

I think we need to plan everything according to the weather & opening up the roads.

I know I haven't posted here for a while. Been following the thread though.

Nice to know on the Leh plans - hope things workout for you guys and probably back in those years even I would have preferred to ride it all the way and someone said only 500kms in a day or so. Moeed and his Platina will get bored - they together have done much more. Really looking forward to hear from you guys on the trip - work it out.

@Ravi - you don't have a bike? ZMA/P200?

@Sumit - congrats dude - somebody please let me know if there is a G2G happening on sunday. Sumit, I checked that Nov 28th is a Sat and next month I am working on Saturdays so I am not really sure if I can make it. Will have to check.

thejus .. talk to guys who've already done the trip and take suggestions.. i remember reading the log of fellow xbhpians from tamil nadu .. they went on a re bullet,p200,karizma and rtr .. was a wonderful log and the pics were simply awesome and breathtaking especially there was this one pic of a huge huge land without even shrubs ..just sandy or rocky terrain for miles at a stretch .. it was a wondeful pic

Yeah! It is definitely me. You know, turning philosophical these days.

For your Leh ride, you need to learn certain things. First thing, how to put a puncture. Changing brake and clutch cables and some basic knowledge about the bike which would help in tricky situations on the ride, particularly with a bajaj bike.

Added to that, Need lots of patience. If you are out of patience, you mind will think crazily and leading to consequences. So MENTAL PREPARATION is also a vital thing to do

@ People thinking about Leh
We would be doing the trip next year. We want to do it from Hyderabad itself as this may be our one & only chance to do such a long trip. We would be halting at various places to enjoy the beauty of the nature. Once we reach the North we will make sure we dont miss anything like many fellow members did. Yes it is totally acceptable that the drive can get very hectic & boring but all we want to do is DRIVE DRIVE & DRIVE LONG.. This is the main reason for me and Sam to get this idea. We both wanted to ride very very long preferably Leh & when we asked Thejus he accepted immediately. Then Karthik joined us.

It would be our pleasure if you people join us. But we want to ride from Hyderabad. If you people dont mind riding such long, its fine with us. I think Moeed is ready for it.
We plan to do it next year probably after the roads open. Maybe in the month of June or July when everyone is probably free. But the dates entirely depend on each & every rider's feasibility. Till then we are in the process of collecting the funds & the necessary riding gear, preparing ourselves mentally & convincing our dear ones.
When time comes one among us will start up a new thread posting all the plans and details of our ride.
