The Official Hyderabad Offline Meet(G2G) Thread

the plan is to ride all the way from hyderabad to leh..the group actually consisted of me rahul and sam...we thought of it more than a month ago.today i was seeing the routes and was kinda thinking....

Hmm... nice plan! Do you have any idea, how many days will this whole trip take? Have you decided upon any dates? I am ready to miss college for 3 weeks or about a month, but will have to make sure that the dates don't clash with my exams.

Trust me Guys!!!
Leh Trip is really long & hectic.
I did it once & now I regret not spending enough time after spending 22days.
We transported the bikes by Train both ways - Hyd to Delhi & Delhi to Hyd.
Still I feel the time was not sufficient.
The Bikes need attention everyday in the terrain.
Occasional servicing - by us as well as PBKs.
I got my Bike serviced in Chandigarh, mandi again due to a small problem, in Leh I did it twice on my own, Srinagar & Amritsar.
The Total trip was 3900kms app.
We did it leisurely but still today I feel it was not sufficient.
That was the reason behind me gearing up for another ride on June 5th 2010.
This time I want to spend a full month.
Cover everything so that I can feel I did it fully.
Starting a new thread in a few days with the plans & earlier trip logs.

Same here. Most probably, I would be having exams in April. After that, I have internship in the summer vacation for 5 weeks. Would update you when I get to know the exact semester schedule.

And its a open invitation for all of you(my biking buddies)......the marriage is on 28th Nov it is at Sai brindavan.....10 Kms after crossing Mount Opera...to be precise after crossing Nizam College of engneering

belive me its a short long ride and a lil bit of off roading(the venue)!!!

@RAGZ you must be knowing Shravani from MPE (from our college)!!! she is the one!!!!

would like to meet you at a G2G and personally invite you all, though i am one of the most oldest keen biker on HYD Xbhp, i am might be new to lot of new bikers here !!

The route via Manali will not be open in the month of April & May.

It gets opened mainly in mid of June, a lot depends on the weather also.

I think we need to plan everything according to the weather & opening up the roads.
