Guys, I have got leaves in the month of December(6-21).

Thinking to do some long tour, especially west coast & down south.

If any one interested & had leaves during that time pls let me know.

my sentiments exactly...i wanna see the whole of the trip and btw i hate trains...its not about only going to leh or saving time..i have lottsa time and will see everything and come back.if its late by 5 days also its ok

karthik is coming mama....he and i are going to pune lonavala khandala and lavasa next month and will buy jackets there that time only....however i want your knee guards...and gloves...will see...depending on budget

the plan is to ride all the way from hyderabad to leh..the group actually consisted of me rahul and sam...we thought of it more than a month ago.today i was seeing the routes and was kinda thinking....

we start from hyderabad and stop at nagpur----500kms(all round figures)---day 1

nagpur to gwalior------700km(we have to start very early and may have to ride late night too)----day 2

gwalior to chandigarh(via delhi)----600kms

to the left of chandigar 45kms is ladak

from chandigar is where the real tour starts i guess...its nearly 800kms to leh from there...


1)i need to take a few pics here and there so please yaar no racings and stuff...this is supposed to be fun and it should be cruise mode speed...
2)i have friends in the mentioned places and so can stay up at their places.
3)all the destinations can be changed if we are early or late depending on situations...these are just approximal scenarios ...

i just sent this whole data to rahul,sam and karthik...karthik has agreed and rahul has exams...hes in full tension ...sam is busy with his new interest i guess..hehe

Yeah! It is definitely me. You know, turning philosophical these days.

For your Leh ride, you need to learn certain things. First thing, how to put a puncture. Changing brake and clutch cables and some basic knowledge about the bike which would help in tricky situations on the ride, particularly with a bajaj bike.
