What exactly is the benefit of riding from Hyd??

well we just want it completely to be a 500km per day road trip.with all pics taken and stuff.thats why we decided to keep the number of riders minimum too...we thought a total of 5...you are the 5th one..lolz

Speaking about patience, I was patiently waiting for the Ninja 250 to be launched&when finally it did get launched, my folks are asking me to be patient for another year!

some thing completely from what you guys are discussing rite now....

Can you please let me know some good bike modification workshop in hyderabad. Nething close to hitech city would help.

I'm looking for fitting a full front fairing for my pular 180.

Also please let me know if the warranty would still hold good if i do that.

AFAIK, most of the modifications are done in ram koti..
But fitting a full front faring on an air cooled bike is not a good idea..

We can spend the time riding from Hyd to Delhi which is 3days by the pace U R planning in Leh itself if V go by train.

Leh is one such place which needs lots & lots of time for enjoying its beauty.
We can take 3+3 days in riding to delhi which can be completed in 1+1 day in train.
Just think about that.
Lets meet up next weekend to finalise the details.

I would not suggest you guys to do that. you will loose all the vigor and energy which is very much required in this journey itself upto Delhi. Rather send your bikes to Delhi and ride from there. Trust me this is what many do and its the best option too. Riding up isnt as easy as it seems. I think you guys want to go to the highest motor able road in India too right? Take tips from Ravikiran as he has done this before and he will tell you the actual struggle. Am not scaring you guys but just telling you that its not really as easy task. But if its only till Leh and back, then its easier as you need not ride through thick snow.

its next year na anna...so according to time constraints we will see....we will discuss when we meet in next g2g...also hoping sam and rahul to be present that time..

So you guys have finalised the group, even i thought of joining your group by reading your initial posts of the day.

But even i suggest sending bikes upto delhi is the best option rather then wasting 3+3 days in journey upto delhi in that hot sun.
One more extra day in delhi reqd to get your bikes serviced over there.

All these days will be useful to explore more in Leh

I would not suggest you guys to do that.

I like to ride my bike to the destination right from my doorstep. I understand that it would mean straining oneself, but it is a different feeling of riding all the way from home. It would be a ride from the south till the north. I don't like traveling by train(those vibrations made me vomit when I traveled from Delhi to Hyderabad) or shipping the bike(may cause damage due to improper packing and handling). IIRC, The Mumbai guys have done the same thing in 21 days.

Guys, I have got leaves in the month of December(6-21).

Thinking to do some long tour, especially west coast & down south.

If any one interested & had leaves during that time pls let me know.
