Bhongir would do. There's a fort there, but I guess you wouldn't trek. You can also try wargal if you are religious Hindu. The roads are sexy on both these ways.Originally posted by P180of2002 View PostSuggestions for a quick weekend ride, in and around Hyderabad? I haven't seen many logs about short trips around our city, hence the question.
Thanks for your input!I meditate as I ride to find a place to sit and meditate.

Re: The Official Hyderabad Offline Meet(G2G) Thread
Just fill form 29 and 30 along with a delivery note.
One more thing, take the transfering charges from him and get it done through your known RTO agent.
Most people buy the bike and don't transfer it to their names for months or sometimes for years.
Its very risky for you.
Be safe and transfer the bike to his name yourself/agent.Last edited by sshariq; 06-05-2016, 01:39 PM.

Mechanic for Pulsar 220
Hey Guys,
Moved to Hyderabad a few months back. I have an 8 year old / 1L kms Pulsar 220 fi which needs some heavy work on the engine. As it's an fi, only Vinayak Bajaj Kachiguda officially works on the bike. However, since I have seen dealership mechs lose interest in "old bikes", I was thinking of trying some local mechanics for the job. Since I'm new to the city, I don't have an idea about reliable mechanics. While it would be easy to just go t decent looking garage and spend the day while having the mechanic work in my presence, the engine work is expected to take 2-3 days, which means I'll be forced to leave my bike at the garage.
So first question, in your opinion should I go with the dealer service center itself or try a local mechanic? Secondly, if a mechanic, does anyone know some good mechs, preferably near kothaguda/madhapur etc. Keep in mind though that, distance is no bar if the mechanic is worth the time/distance.
Thanks in advance guys.

The only way you are going to get a good service is when you stay with your bike and supervise the entire process..Originally posted by Mohammed Abul Hasan View PostHey guys it's time for the 2nd free service of my activa.i want to know the honda service center in Hyderabad with good service and repairing any faults or problem .. as I've heard a lot of negativity about some dealers im really skeptical to give the scooter without knowing about their service etc.would be really helpful if u guys can share ur experience with the honda 2 wheeler service centers in Hyderabad preferably around ameerpet and panjagutta

Re: Honda service center hyderabad
The mechanic (Srikanth) who used to work on the p220's (until around 2012) at Vinayak, has moved to ktm banjara (varun motors) almost since ktm launched.Originally posted by forcooler View PostHey Guys,

If it's an engine rebuild, try talking to the Varun motors at Kondapur and also at Vinayak at Begumpet.. get an estimate and also ask who is the mechanic who will be working on it. Try to get a mental assessment done before you let them work on your bike.
You can maybe head to ktm banjara and ask Srikanth for a recommendation, but these days even he simply says take it to the bajaj showroom. he has decent knowledge and experience on fixing and rebuilding stock motors on the pulsar and ktm's.
For second service, you don't need much work other than an oil change. Don't try to fiddle with something that isn't required. I haven't seen any one showroom provide great service by defaultOriginally posted by Mohammed Abul Hasan View PostHey guys it's time for the 2nd free service of my activa.i want to know the honda service center in Hyderabad with good service and repairing any faults or problem .. as I've heard a lot of negativity about some dealers im really skeptical to give the scooter without knowing about their service etc.would be really helpful if u guys can share ur experience with the honda 2 wheeler service centers in Hyderabad preferably around ameerpet and panjagutta
.. one needs to hang around build a rapport and use some common sense.
Whats more important is you hang around and get the scooter serviced.
There is a Honda workshop at the junction of krishna nagar and srinagar colony road, try going there in advance and tell them you want to hang around and will come the next day 9am for service.
I've had a couple of repairs done there by a mechanic named Raju, young chap but factory trained and sensible. Not sure if he still works there.

Re: Honda service center hyderabad
Hey! A question popped up in my mind. How do you confirm for sure that you dont have your previous vehicle on your name anymore after the transfer has taken place?Originally posted by s1d View Post...
(I have already transferred my previous bike and the new owner is saying that he has received his new RC for the bike, but I still want to confirm that I dont have that bike on my name anymore in the RTO's record)
