An update for all of you out there.

Got a LS2 atmos helmet yesterday. I bought it from the zeus motorcycle store in madhapur (on the rocks adventure store). I bought it for 5900 including GST of 18% + 18%.
today just out of curiosity checked the prices in Amazon. I feel cheated when I saw the same model priced at 4999 including all taxes.

that place is known for its special hiked prices. you just met another bad dealer.

Is anyone interested in coming on a trip of Hyderabad-Solapur-Goa-Mangalore-Hyderabad from 23/09 to 27/09?

We could've gone together if I'm a member of xbhp then. We (group of 3) did similar trip on exact dates. Hyderabad - Gangavathi - Dandeli - Goa - Hampi - Hyderabad from 23/9 to 30/9.

I joined xbhp after returning from the trip. Hope you enjoyed the ride.

Hyderabad to Hampi Trip

I am planning trip from Hyderabad to Hampi with pillion on Honda Hornet 160R in 2nd week of January 2018. This is going to be first "official" trip over 200Km ride. I have experience riding all day through it was less distance due to very bad road conditions.

Which route to take:

a. Hyderabad OOR -> MahbubNagar -> Raichur -> Hampi (https://goo.gl/maps/9DnZRP2NxqF2)
b. Take Hyderabad OOR -> Bangalore Highway till Kurnool -> Alur -> Ballari -> Hampi (https://goo.gl/maps/9JzDaEJDpMp)

Or, should I take "a" to Hampi and "B" back to Hyderabad.

Things are set for bike trip:
1. Bike service 3 week before trip.
2. Helmet and knee guards for pillion too.
3. Riding jacket for Pillion.
4. Saddle bags

Q1: I have a heavy leather jacket. It is good enough or I should also get the rider's jacket.
Q2: Any special things to take care while servicing other than engine oil, break fluid and chain cleaning.

Any suggestion?
