I am new to xbhp and would love to join you guys on long rides. But, I see that there is not much happening for the next few days. Please count me in when you plan any.
Also, I would appreciate it if someone could direct me on how to join a KTM group for long rides. I own an RC 390. Anyone knows any KTM groups in Hyderabad?

Pearl Yamaha

Hi All,

I am writing this message to help my fellow Xbhpians who own Yamaha vehicle in hyderabad and get it serviced through Pearl Yamaha in Madhapur.

I own a Yamaha R15, I bought it in March 2010 from Pearl Yamaha moosapet, I regularly take the bike to service at the same service center @ Moosapet, but all the time they do not have spare parts ready. In Oct 2015 I have to take my bike to Madhapur for replacing cone set, during this is the main fraud has happened , they have stolen my K&N air filter and replaced it with normal one. When I asked them they are not supportive and the mechanic who was responsible is saying that he would have changed it only if the customer asked me to change.

IMP point why would one want to change the K&N filter when its a life time filter which can be recharged. also this guy himself told me while giving my bike back after cone set replacement that you have a K&N filter why did you close the filter cap of the box. I replied that I do not like the noise that it makes and now he says that he is not sure.

So I request you all people to beware of these thieves in showroom and service.
I know few people wont agree with this who are close to the mechanic, because they know him, but I am a customer and why would I lie unnecessarily just for air filter.

I am writing this message to help my fellow Xbhpians who own Yamaha vehicle in hyderabad and get it serviced through Pearl Yamaha in Madhapur.

I will tell from a personal experience that apart from one mechanic (can't remember the name) they are a bunch of lazy turds wearing Yamaha shirts. I have a 2011 FZ16 which I used to take there for service because I worked close by.

1) They have a huge influx during the weekends and they take bikes and they have no place to park them.
2) They will just wash the bike adjust AFR to lean (mileage wala setting and give it back). Sometimes they won't even wash (the spraying of water they call wash)
3) They will not advise you on the bike if it requires or doesn't require anything.
4) Changed oil keeping old Oil filter in
5) Their store just plainly refuses to give you spares

This one incident where the mech went too far with the AFR and the bike got too hot and stalled every 2 kms. As uneducated about bikes as I was then, I was told that the engine had gone bad and the cylinder head needs to reworked (something on those lines) and that he would do it for me for an amount.

Finally reading through the forums and internet, I managed to figure out the AFR thing.

I will have to thank them though, because only reason I started educating myself about bikes was because of Pearl Yamaha.

If possible try Kuru Yamaha, which is opposite the MCH building @ lower tankbund. I sat the whole while with my bike...but the guys were kinda better in response and initiative. (I have no affiliation with that firm ... only my experience)

Anyone from Hyderabad
Installed hand guards for KTM duke 200.
Service centre quoted me 3300/- for the whole.
It includes handle bar of 390, hand guards, new grips, bar end weights.
Anyone who installed in Hyderabad please guide me.
