What mechanic? You mean the svc guy?. Don't they have like a short police free test track that they use the bike on? Ktm banjara hills has it.

Has anyone ridden from Hyderabad to rajahmundry recently ? I'd like to know about the road conditions.

Roads till Rajahmundry are good.ROads are butter smooth till vijayawada.Dont know about present condition of Vja-Rajahmundry road.Hope they are good too

Not my new bike.. it's my old one.. haha it's blessed by the govt for the first time in 4 years of it's riding.. Kudos to my mechanic..

Thank you.. There are actual two popular routes: One Hyd-vja-Rjm and the other is Hyd-suryapet-khamman-sathupally-Rjm
The first route is longer by around 60km but has excellent roads.
I wanted more info on the second route. Anyway I spoke to a friend who recently used the second route (on a bus).. his feedback was there are a few stretches that are bad and he said even though the other route is a bit longer is much better.

I was thinking of riding around for a while and having bfast at the mcd in hitech city.
Ive been to medchal around 12 times and stopped at that axis bank and bought stuff at the bakery next to it, but sadly i have a weakness in remembering routes and tend to get lost frequently lol. i know its embarrassing but if someone is riding down from banjara/juiblee hill/hitec/srinagar colony/khairtabad ..do let me know and i will follow you guys to medchal. you have a msg on whatsapp @Sarvajit

Is there any race track in Hyderabad to go for a ride and learn more about our bikes?? I don't think there's any but is there something that's shut down or something?

Sadly no. I met the event planner for ktm a week ago at begumpet showroom (turns out he went to bhavan's like me infact the same year). He told me orange days and rides are difficult to plan for Hyderabad because of a lack of race tracks. They did this orange day sometime back and they organised it at the go cart track but because of the nature of the track one rider fell and died.

Just our luck, we buy big bikes and we got nowhere to run them 😡

He told me orange days and rides are difficult to plan for Hyderabad because of a lack of race tracks. Will a petition work to convert the begumpet airport to a track..? They can do that right..?

That airport is now used for VIPs. People like the president and the prime minister land there so no luck there either buddy.

That was just a thought.. Nothing more.. coz the airport is used maybe once in a month?? they already have a helipad at the governor's office.. those government VIPs are getting way more than what they deserve.. burns me the most..

So, coming to the topic, bikes are banned at ORR (I've heard but not sure), the PVNR Expressway, luckily highway is our only place. But they are not safe either.. building a track from scratch will cost a billion right? (that's what it cost approx. for the one near Delhi/Noida).

Well those VIPs ARE getting more than they deserve but we are the ones who gave them the free pass to get it. Burns me too but no remedy for that.
You can start a thread asking all xbhp members from Hyderabad to meet up and sign a petition to get a race track built in the city and we can support you. Well I guess that's the best we can do at the moment. Things would move a lot faster and we'd have our track by now if Modiji was a Hyderabadi biker .
