The time for getting the number will be same if u register yourself or by the showroom's agent. Only you have to put some effort by which you can save around 1100/- bucks

All you have to do is go the RTA with all documents and wait in queue for 15 mins on weekdays and little more on saturdays. And 30 minutes for the inspection officer to COME to inspect your bike as there will be queue too..for a new bike they really don't do any thing(for a transfer vehicle they inspect a lot) and it's a one minute task once he comes to u....People are not aware that the process is easy and they get it done through agents.

LIFE TAX CERTIFICATE
TR NO. DOCUMENT
SALES INVOICE
INSURANCE DOCUMENT
ADDRESS PROOF (copy)
ID PROOF (preferably pan card or D/L)(copy)

* Note all are originals except the last two

Take a PEN, STAPLER and PENCIL (for tracing the chassis no.) with you

The fee structure is:

Application Fees: 60/-
Service Charge : 100/-
Smart Card fee : 200/-
Postal Charge : 35/-
Late Fee : 25/- (I booked after 2 months as I waited for a number)
Total : 420/- Including the late fee... else 395/-

All these are available on the website, go through them...

Dude I got cheated by street flames on a pair of roots horns. 1 week from purchase they started to malfunction and so I decided to take the bike back and they fixed it for free. then again in two weeks one of the two horns went kaput. this time asked for replacement and was told no replacement as street flames gives no warranty. when I purchased I was told it was premium pair of horns recommended for all duke owners and that free service and warranty will be there and when it broke I was told to go to a nearby horn repair guy. Its an outrage how this guy treats his customers post sale of product. Street Flames has cheated me hopefully your experience will differ. Just wanted to share my story
