Usually I overtake in Blind curves with a bit of Caution & NO ASSUMPTION.
I try to check from the left side of the vehicle whats coming in & then come to the right to overtake it.
U can notice my head totally tilted when I'm planning those Blind curve overtaking.
I'll look for the clear piece of road which is required.
I also look for the conditions of the road, sand on the road & vehicles stopped in the curves.
When I see everything is clear I take it on.
If I have any doubt or need to ASSUME things then I'll call it off.

          How R U now??

This was a minor. Did you forget what happened to BOO? It was the scariest and a nightmare to us. Thanks to Sumit, without his influence we would not have come out that.

Yeah, I know that..you overtook only when the road was clear from other side. But still...a Blind curve is as BLIND curve..right. It hard for the driver in lorry/bus to see you in his RVM at blind curve even while you are honking. As I already said...we are also riding the Luck along with the bike.

                  Cheers...!

Also to add I might have driven 50-60 times & Rode 30-35 times in that road.
So I still remember most of the Road irregularities.
When U go to the left of the road U see the most part of the road ahead.
Then I start honking & come to the right & rev up.
                      Something like a sling shot.
I never was close nor had any sudden brakes when I was driving/Riding normally.
Only when I speak with people I get distracted while driving, Riding or even working.
So I don Use phone along with any work.

                      Still Point Taken!!!

                      • If you guys remember, many a times I did not over take when a turn or when there is no visibility for at least 1km. The reason is I ASSUME that there is another invisible vehicle also trying to overtake some invisible vehicle and I might end-up face to face with that one!!! yeah scary !!

Except for a 4lane highway or GQ, its always better to maintain 80-90kmph...
Even If I'm riding alone on a highway, I'd prefer to maintain 80-90kmph so that I can even admire nature's beauty along with enjoying the ride...
