KP - looking at your signature, I just recollected words of a friend - he was like - when we were in school, the map was different, now it is different, more number of states. If this goes on, very soon there will be 54 states in india and then it will be called USI = United States of India LOL

Yes bhai... and in fact, one of our great Telangana leaders was arguing on TV that if USA has 56 states why can't India have so many??? And his point was that dividing into small states makes administration easier. I wonder why then do we have districts, mandals and panchayats! Dividing states only makes corruption easier.

And, for the argument's sake, some of the states in USA are as big as 70-80% of our country and smaller states there are bigger than our largest states.

I was thinking more on the lines of USAP (you sap) - United States of Andhra Pradesh. Hyderabad will be the capital and a union territory with all the districts will become states and their head quarters as their state capitals.
This solution will satisfy all the quarters:
pro telangana folks - self governance
pro jai andhra - not connected / dependent on telanaga
pro samaikyandhra - we are still united as single entity.
pro Hyd UT - done
folks cribbing on the development in cities - well each district will have a city now.

PS: I am a passive supporter of Telangana, but looking at the way the things are going on if a separate state is given, I (we all) tend to lose than gain anything. All the parties involved in this agitation(student bodies, government agencies, business-men, state and central governments and so called independent leaders) have screwed it up big time.

KCR recommended Bill Gates to make a seperate software for Telangana... so bill gates announced that Microsoft plans to release a windows version in Telangana Language.

microsoft windows will no longer be called "microsoft windows" in telangana ... it will be called "telangana windows" or "t-win" in short.

Here are some Windows related terms that are proposed to be used in the telangana version of kitkeel renduvela padi (Windows2010):

Child marriage alert!

This is the 1st time am hearing someone hitting the rev limiter in 5th gear! Few execption like prabhakar's bike in DQMD format

Believe it or Not! But i was on a downslope. It was on rev-limiter for about 4 seconds after which another slope started and speed dropped. All this while going to Kurnool.

Btw nice jokes there. LMAO..
