I happened to go to Gandipet on sunday afternoon with family and the place where we had a meet, I got to see 4SBKs, Ninja 600(obvioulsy green), CBR600 and two R1. The R1 guys had good riding gear on expect for the shoes - they were just the normal sports shoe and while all the 4 rides had lids, there were 3 pillions who weren't wearing any lids. My son and nephews were spellbound by the sounds of the engines and so was I but I didn't see a number plate on either of the two R1s. Didn't notice the same on the 600s.

Whatzup with the Narsapur - HMTV formation ride? Any updates?

I know telugu a bit, can understand most of it, these days not very fluent reading it - so missed the fun in Rajs post but the one in Satish's post was fun

Guys, anywhere in AP, it is advised to refrain from going into the road tomorrow the 5th day of January 2010. The end of world you've seen in the movie 2012 is advanced by 2 years in AP. All roads & rails would go through a Rasta Roko session throughout the so called AP state. Thankfully there is no sea transport inside the state as the Buckingham canal is almost closed! else they'd have blocked it too.

That thing cannot really be translated. Not just into another language but also into telugu. Even the telugu guys who dunno about the culture & traditions of Telangana area would not understand the cartoon fully!

The Vintage car rally on Republic Day is as regular for that day as the flag hoisting is. But then, if Hyderabad remains in such hostile situation even then, people would dare roam around in their 70 Lakh Mercs but won't take out a vintage car even for the rally!

That day, I ran out of cash, I had only 30/- in the pocket (and traveling by car!!) and it very much was required that day - ATM pin blocked, but managed it now using a cheque!!! (I got so used to ATM thingy, that I had to ask in the bank on how to use the self cheque!!!. BTW, it doesn't mean that you don't give the money though!!!)

HydBiker answered it. My uncle works for government en route a village(Haliya or Aliya, not hailaa) to NSD. He said, agitators are blocking the NSD road at Ibrahimpatnam and other business centers till NSD and beyond. Just sit at home and finish any un-finished business like "cleaning kitchen". You might end up finding auto grade oil in there....

PS: All of you fuel-up your vehicles and groceries today(preferably by afternoon) - just in case!!
