just came back from a small ride to shameerpet lake riders were TnT his bro nikhpaul and me , drove Taruns R15 on the way back , man what a diffrent rideing posture the bike has , but it was butter smooth initally mine palm pained a lil but then i remembered KP's advice and let my hand loose a lil (elbow relaxed) and then it seemed quite comfortable , am tempted to buy one .

Shabbarak was waiting for us at the Trimulgherry petrol bunk, met up with him at 5:10AM. It was so dark but obviously zero traffic all the way. Started from there towards Shamirpet via Alwal. Rode sanely at around 70kmph. Slow and steady to the lake. Stopped there and generally passed time talking about bikes n stuff, we were waiting for the sun rise, but sadly there was cloud cover and we couldn't really catch the 'sun rise' till the sun already rose and we realized it too late

Wanted to go back through a different route, so rode ahead from Shamirpet and took the connecting road towards NH7. Engine was warmed up so rode a little more like normal and left Shabbar and Nikhil behind, waited for them at NH7. From there we were alternately ripping for a bit, passion doing almost 100 kmph. We exchanged bikes with me doing 90+ on passion, my bro on uni and shabbar on the R15. Found one nice cafe (we were hungry) it was called 'friends circle' or something, had kaafee+biskut there and started again. Everyone was back to their own bikes so a little bit more ripping till we got off NH7 and dispersed from there.

Nice way to spend a sunday morning.

EDIT: While coming back on NH7, saw one red FZ, green Ninjette and Blue R15 goin in the other direction. All of them were geared up.. Where from do you think?

There could be many reasons for G2G's like people lost intrest, Cant make it etc. Then what wrong with people who are able to make it to G2G. Lets not consider the number of people attending the G2G's. There have been G2G's with only 3 persons and even with 30 persons.

Plan a G2G..coming or not coming is subjective.

I just moved to Hyderabad from Bangalore. My bike is a Andhra registered bike 'AP 13 E xxxx'. What do I have to do to ensure, all papers are intact. The bike is on my name, insurance in order.

He he... but i have a loud pipe... So need to be a bit more careful.

Anything is fine here as long as u wear a helmet.
In one incident i was doing speeds of about 20 kmph without a helmet & another guy on his RD350 chambered with really short can, riding triples, zipping through the traffic insanely but wearing a helmet blows past me. The cops dont stop him and stop me. Reason being he was wearing a helmet and i put it on my tank as was having headache.

Last night there was a off line unexpected drag at Jubillee Checkpost. Time : started around 2 am, in attendance were 2 new ZMR's (one in white and one in red), a yellow, blue and two black r15's.....a silver 220 and plenty of 2 strokers. Must say was a dead good sight but most of the riders didnt even carry a helmet. Nevertheless, a bunch of cars too turned up and there was hell of a lot of staraight line drag at the checkpost stretch. Eye candy was a Silover Merc SLK........unlike the usual saturdays, the crowd was huge this time around and must say was a pretty scenic till the cops turned up.

Once the bikers scattered around, met up a small gang near Latte. About ten guys in couple of cars and a P220. I was just looking around for a smoke and one of d guys started unglifyin fr a drag. I got pissed aftr a while and politely told em i dont do drags but street drags. finally he became keen and we started right from Cyber towers and the finish line @ PBK, Begumpet. It was just the two of us and the remaining gang his in their cars, with one set of people already leaving for pbk.

This guys 220 pulled away with ease at the beginning untill first couple of corners. There was mild traffic and few trucks plighting on the road. Was kind of fun and 220 reached pbk about a minute and 10 sec or sumthng. Trust me guys, it was all healthy and spirited (i knw most ya don encourage outrage on d streets) had a good conversation with these guys and packed up.

PS : sum unknown dude who i met up yestday is really keen on a straightline drag. Since I aint into it, please let me know if any one is keen. He was talkin big so i guess one of us frm our side should jus make sure that he grows up. Any one ?

by the way I was on my bud's P180 durinthe strret drag. Cya all at the g2g today.

Most of the guys didn't had no lids. The guy i street raced with had one but he refused to wear it saying he aint comfy . Even at the start line, i requested him coupla times to get on the lids but he just bluntly said, aadat nahi hai bhai....chalo na.

MadMax, street racing is very very dangerous and illegal even if you wear full gear. You are going to get a ban from the forum if you talk about street racing on the forum. We (xbhp) do not encourage street racing.

Personally I suggest you not to do street racing. I do not want to see somebody I knew in untoward incident. Remember your friend from EBOS who met with accident. Do you want to be in his position?
