Uncle.....i dont understand why you need to rewind the coil. Headlights are powered directly from the battery right? so i guess rewinding the coil is unnecessary. Rather you might waana think how need to increase the rate the battery recharges.

Or am i missing something?

Uncle.... the headlights are powered directly from battery. but running both beams at a time on battery would make the battery die in say about 2mins while idling. if my battery dies, iam dead, as my bike wouldnt start, as it needs battery power to start the fuel pump. with the present coil and RR i can produce 60W. but with this setup the rate at which the battery is charged is way less than the rate at which battery would be consumed. this would work fine for testing purpose, if the wires can actually hold on or not. but for a permanent mod i would need a more powerful coil and a bigger battery.

does anyone use AGIP engine oil? any idea if its better than Motul 300V FL? is it available in XW50? what can be the cost like?

no anna. the RR unit would be custom designed. we are trying the dual beams with the halogens. a fellow member has done with HID's. i wanna give halogens a try.
Also, any idea where a 12Ah battery can be found?

haven't yet seen a 12V 12Ah battery. GO out and check with some UPS repair wala or battery shop.

AGiP Fully Synthetic was not available in Hyderabad when we tried the last time. Mineral oil is available. It is available in Bangalore. If you want AGIP Fully Synth oil in Hyd, the dealer can probably get it for you on order. Motul, I believe, is still better than the AGIP. Also, haven't heard of the xW50 AGIP Fully Synth oil in India.
