ravi thanks for the advice your points are noted and we will make sure there is no rash riding and so on , it would have been fun had you also joined us .Originally posted by ravi@17bhp View PostAll those who are riding tomorrow, have a nice and safe ride.
A small advice, please do not get carried away by the open four lane; be cautious and be on safe side always, which is important.
Also, you guys are representing xbhp, so please do not do any rash riding.
Hope everybody is having proper bike papers (lisence and RC book are a must). If anybody is not having, please refrain from riding. I hope sombody will take care of this part.
guys pls dont be lateShabbar

Medak disaster
1st of all my thanks to the members for all their support n help(especially Rahul) 2ndly sorry I kinda made da day boring n bla bla bla...
well what can I say but F*** Yamaha.....
The beginning of the trip was amazing, good speed of 80 - 90, good distance between riders, n good break fast...
Our way home begun by me taking the RTR180 i guess n we begun changing bikes....everyone was in the mood of pushing the 'other' bike to its limit n see its capabilities...
Then back to my FZ-s doing 90 going up a small hill n just after reaching the top. I noticed a big long pot hole(well)..... n it was sandy so my reaction was Fly high...... I was flying high but unfortunately landed badly.... I warned Javeed n rahul who were just behind me n parked the bike to make sure the front shocks were intact.... Only to notice that my rear rim had a slight bend leading to air leakage...one great disadvantage of a tubeless n yamaha product.....
had to get to the nearest shops at low speed n tried hammering the rim only to find a crack after the 2nd hammering.... plan B was to put a tube...
It really worked for about 20-30 kms n it got punctured...... Wanted to repair it again but no puncture guy had 18 ring(FZ owners carry in ur tool kit).... Finally found one.. repaired the puncture n the tire wasw fit... good to go right?? It was punctured before moving...... Opened the tire again only to find a 6 inch cut......
What should I do???? Told the guy to put the tire back n ride 80 kms without air(DONT TRY THIS AT HOME)
did at 65kph till sanipuri if am not wrong and to an auto back home..
NOTE : FZ owners carry a spare pair of rims before going for a trip....I'd rather be fast than invisible!!!!!
Bikes previously owned n models
Honda 50cc 97 - scooter
Honda MTX 50 - off road
Suzuki TS 125s - Scrambler
Honda XRV 750 Africa Twin - The massive adventure bike, tourer, off roader n dessert stallion.
Currently

oh oh.... sorry abt that bro... but tubeless tyres sometimes become a pain especially if it happens in a long ride... had a similar kind of issue while coming from nagpur on my comet to hyd.... Met a "wonderful" pothole on the so called "Beautiful Highways" of AP, Rear rim slightly got bent on the edge at a point n air started leaking.., rode slowly about 25-30km found a cycle repair shop with a hammer...Originally posted by ABZ View Post1st of all my thanks to the members for all their support n help(especially Rahul) 2ndly sorry I kinda made da day boring n bla bla bla...
