@AKAlOgAN - Buddy have done a ride in Sept 2010 to Gokarana which is 130 Odd kms south of Goa, route taken is as below.

Hyd - Mahabubnagar - Raichur - Hosepet - Hubli - Karwar Road(you take a diversion here for Goa) - Gokarana.

Roads in Karanataka are not that great, Its all good patch bad patch. If doing on bike avoid doing solo the Yellapur ghats (after taking the Karwar route) instances of leoperds being spotted on roads in early/late hours. By the way when r u planing to do this ride? cheers.
