the current plan is to ride via Vikarabad > Anathagiri hills > Dharur > Kotepalli reservoir....carrying the tri color. Let me know who are all in for this one.

Met with an accident

Had an accident close to my office. Courtesy- A bugger who suddenly turns right without seeing who all are behind. Bruised all the way but helmet saved me. Felt really sorry for my pillion rider. After first aid and dressing we had to face another torture. The guy who turned right accused us for the accident and wanted us to settle the bill. To top it all he threatened to file a case if we didn't settle his bill. We were really pissed off and asked them to do whatever they feel like. Infact we thought of filing a case.
Later when we were leaving one of his friend comes and politely asks for my bike no. .
Had a rough day.

i would've joined if it werent for my exams in feb!

the roads are horrible harsha! (i can only speak for the langar house-gurukul-chevella-vikarabad-ananthagiri hills route)...the worst i've ridden in the recent past (just one month back)

and be careful with your speed...can easily damage your front rim!

Thats really sad Juris. Hope you and your friend have just bruises. Above the injuries, what hurts and frustrates you is the attitude of the morons. Just take a chillpill and forget about it; just take care of you and your ride.

How about going upto kamareddy heard that roads are pretty well in that route.....having break fast there and returning back.....

How are the injuries and pillion?
You will find loads of them on the roads here. Such people make roads bad and not safe. Rather than the speed you are travelling on the city roads, its the other guys on roads who are more dangerous.

Be more cautious on HITEC city during early mornings, as most of the people become NRI and have confusion with the direction of travel.

The most hurting thing is the attitude of the people after bumping in, Happened quite a few times with me. The see as if they have done favour of bumping into the bike instead of me.
I have started back by doing the same to them and gently say sorry.

kamareddi? the one on nh7 medak bound around 120km?! if so then YES! the roads are lovely! how about going 150km+ in that highway and back to hyd? full tanks worth till the reserve light comes on...

very true! i find extremely difficult to keep myself under check whenever someone blatantly denies his/her mistake and then in turn blame me! uk is a breeze to drive and cant wait to go back! bet you're having fun over there

Yaaa that's wat I am saying...so we will be going on 26th morning ....leaving city by 6 in the morning....I think kamareddy is some 150 kms from hyd????...we will have have our break fast there and will be returning to hyd by afternoon.....wat say???

Republic day ride

Regarding the republic day ride here are the options we r having

1.anathagiri hills- heard that roads are not in good conditions
2.lower mainar dam near karimnagar-one way it's 180 kms and If I am not wrong it will take one day to cover this ride
3.ride on nh7 till 150 kms no specific destination ,having breakfast at some dhaba near kamareddi.

I think vinu(Madmax) as said to me is oke with any of the rides..:P

me and abhinav are in for the third option as we can return by noon....

So plzz guys tell ur veiws and cofirm as soon as possible so that we can have good republic day ride
