My personal experience is that better to go for a
Digital camera which has the maximum flexibility in terms of manual settings and a good zoom.

I thought a digital camera just like ours.

Dont know exactly but said me once that he is going to get a DSLR from abroad

A p100 has excellent speed , low light capabilities ,v.g IQ , loads of features.
it can do a burst of 10 shots in 1 sec @ full res and 3 Shots/sec consequtively upto 200 shots @ full res.... Excellent camera... but only one down side... WB not accurate under artificial white light when it comes to skin tone... will show a light pink tint... and i was expecting DSLR Levels of DOF and hence ended up sellin it off.... will get it's replacement soon...

Did'nt u guyz hear about the hs-20 ??? all dslr owners will go red just by lookin at it... a 16 mpix cmos (but still a 1/2.3 " sensor) ... have to wait till march till the reviews come out.. Olumpus Enthusiastic range caught my eye with a 1/6" ccd and a Unlrta bright f 1.8 - f 2.2 across the entire range...

maze ki bath yeh hai ki ..No 1 bought kites no manza nothing ended up in a lame g2g no fun all returned back home with there throats cut lol

Its a good one man.I paid 13k for my cam(15x zoom)
Yours is 18x i guess.Other than that,everything is same
Once imagine we getting a 30x zoom

well i m waiting for my cam.. hope so it has min 24x zoom !!!!

Bought a nikkon p100 for 19k about a month ago... has 26x zoom and a blazzing fast camera....

All you joooming folks, try a digital camera(DSLR better) coupled with a telescope(many available from 500/- to 5,00,000/-!!), you will forget all those X-es!!!
