      • Hello..

I am from Hyderabad. I follow News and Tourer sections in xBhp. I am also a bit of a tourer myself. Also, I am angry with myself for not being active on this thread. If there is some database for xBhp members from Hyderabad, please add me to it. I just looked at the photos of the G2G. I'd like to be a part of it the next time for sure.

        Thank you.

                              • First of all I would like to congrajulate you guys for successfully completing the IBA SS & BB. Bet it must have been an experience and we all will get to learn about lot from these runs. Look forward for a detailed writeup and pics on the same.

As I am into my late 30s now, and since I am in a place where you get to see bikes once in a while... everything was just about to begin to looking like simple numbers to me, be it the age, be it the distance, be it the CCs of a machine, be it the top speed of a car/bike and the list goes on.

Last weekend me went cycling within the city along with a cpl of my cousins. We started off with no plans as such and were riding casually. An hr into the ride I suddenly realised that we were heading the way where I had a very tasty Saudi Biryani type of a dish, off course its way way different from the Hyd biryani but something on those lines and the attraction was the Camel meat . We were there on time for dinner and hungry as whatever you call it. Reached back to my room at around 11:30 and slept like a log. Next morning the first thing I did was to open Google Earth and check out the distance we had cycled - it was like 38-40kms. Thatz when someone from inside told me - and you thought you were getting old and its just another number? Then why did you had to lookup how many kms you did last evening? lol

Two weeks back I was at the DEW Tour - man o man - crazy BMX stunts, followed by amazing superbike stunts by a guy and then two Gorgeous MUSTANGS drifting, donutting and burn outs - looked like neither those two cars nor those two drivers could ever drive in a straight line LOL and then for the first time I saw 3 motorcross bike all that they do in the XGames live. It had been ages since anything I gave me butterflies or held my breath the way their show did.

Now for something interesting - yesterday afternoon I went to drop the CBR for a general service. The Kawasaki guys here service all makes. As I rode into the garage, I had to shake my head a few times to make myself realise that I was still in all my sense and what I was looking at is correct. Guess whom I saw - a brand new shining Red Pulsar 180. I asked the mech - how on earth did she come here - he smiled and replied, you should go and check the showroom at the front we have the entire pulsar range. When I went into the showroom, I was first greeted by all the big Ninja's and then the 2nd and 3rd row looked so indian - yes a Red Baby Ninja and then you won't believe it - a P150, Discovery 150, a Boxer and a P220. In this section of the showroom I almost felt like I was in some Rahul Bajaj showroom lol.

One of the things thatz been stopping me from getting myself a bike here is a proper and safe parking place cause unlike my bicycle I cannot lift it and take it up the stairs and park it in my first floor balcony . Seriously I must start looking for some place where I cud park - then I can get a license and get atleast the 220 -

BTW can someone educate me on the price of a 220 there?
