Re: Suggestion on Honda Service Center in Hyderabad
Supp Hyderabadi's
I was getting a week of in college and so planing for Hyderabad Trip to my friend's place who's inviting me from 4 years.
And I just kept on saying Ya I will come, I'll let you after train reservation. :/"Bhai ki Shaadi hai aayega ?"
"Bhai ko beta hua, party hai. Aayega ?"
"Bhai ke bete ka 1st Badday Hai Aayega ?"
"Dusre bhai ki Shaadi hai aayega ?"
But couldn't make it.
So Now I'm coming.
He stays somewhere near Char Minar, Old city.
I'll be having a Bike with me. Could anyone please list up the places that I can visit during daytime on bike nearby to that place ?
1 week trip seems good enough to me. So I just want to add Hyderabad in my "Done" list from "To Do".
First I was Scared But then We Made a Deal

well, yes krishna nagar / yousufguda / srinagar colony are close to each other...Originally posted by nitins View PostKrishna Nagar and Srinagar colony are in Yousufguda? Could you tell me the general area where these are located? If possible also share their contact number. Thanks.
this asc is located right at the corner on the up hill road (towards juiblee hills check post) after the more supermarket on the krishna nagar road.
open google maps and enter this in the search 17.429354,78.424919
this gives you the approx location of the svc.
luckily they had called me on friday telling me i had visited them 3 months ago and called me for service reminder (i told them that i came to buy a floor mat and dint service it
) i do my servicing at a local mech who is close to this asc (my ride is a dio)
their number is 040-65551588Last edited by s1d; 06-10-2013, 10:59 AM.

Also I am facing an issue where the bike seems to struggle to go past 60 KM/Hr. It seems to make a lot of sound when i try to go beyond 60.
Can anyone suggest a good Honda Service center/reliable mechanic in Hyderabad near Mehdipatnam?

Nitin
Hi Nitin,
Vijaynagar colony is pretty near to Mehdipatnam and you can visit my mechanic there. His name is Ram Krishna - you can reach him at 55822979 / 9394560008. It is just a regular mechanic shop but the guy is good and I know him for close to 20yrs now and only he has worked on my bikes. Tell him that you are Yaser's friend, hopefully he will fix it to your satisfaction.

1 week trip seems good enough to me. So I just want to add Hyderabad in my "Done" list from "To Do".

Here are a few one day getaways:
1)Narsapur Forest-Pocharam Dam-Nizamsagar Dam[4kms long
] approx 150kms one way. You can chuck Nizamsagar if you want. Just yesterday I did Pocharam dam, you can see a few pics in above posts.
2)Ananthagiri Hills. approx 75 kms one way. Lots to explore. Lots of off roading. Visit this place only when in a large group. Don't stay beyond 1700 hrs. Heavy police patrolling.
3)Nagarjuna Sagar dam-Ethipothala water falls approx 180kms one way. Lot's of places around these two to be seen.
You can also do Sri Sailam and Mallela Theertham. Approx 170-80 kms one way.
One week ke liye kafi hoga shayad.

Re: The Official Hyderabad Offline Meet(G2G) Thread
Hey Guys
I reaches Hyderabad yesterday evening.
Did Mumbai - Hyderabad (750km) on my Pulsar 220.
Bike had already done 1800km from last service and on way because of mud & dust. Air filter sensor was blinking.
I'm at my friends home.
In Hyderabad near Char Minar (old city).
Found 2 Bajaj service center which were really pathetic !
No proper air machine to blow air even.
Guys is there any good Bajaj service center in Hyderabad or nearby where they know how to service Pulsar 220 ??
I dont want to take risk because I have to go return also in 2-3 days.
Please let me know the name & address if anyone of you know.
Note : How do you people ride in this Traffic ? :O
I am not able to go beyond 3rd gear from yesterday.

Bajaj centre at Police lines, Begumpet. Siddi Vinayak Bajaj I think the name is. Just make sure you stand there while they attend your bike. You MIGHT have to make an appointment.[Useing the word ANNA may help
].
And yeah, traffic is very bad here. Especially with the metro rail project. And, I will say that traffic has somewhat got better now, these past 6-8 months. HTP is really working their ass off.Last edited by Kolte666; 06-24-2013, 10:34 PM.
