Guys, I am planning a ride from hyderabad to ladakh sometime this month. 2 riders (cbr250's) have been confirmed as of now. Dates arent confirmed yet.
It will be decided based on the riders convenience.

i would love to come but don't think i can come on my vespa . wish someone could lend or get me a hired impulse. will surely then tag along. but i did hear two groups going to ladakh this season. maybe you can tag along with them.

Guys,refrain from doing the delhi-pathankot-sringar-leh route during this week as you will not be allowed to enter/pass jammu .Too many hartals on the way and its very unsafe even if you can sneak pass through and localites feel the curfew might stay till 16th.Here,at srinagar things are under vigilance.

ya guys.. i would not recommend going through Jammu at present or in the next 2 weeks.. the situation is very volatile there.. better be safe.. the dreams can be completed next year..

xBhpin from Hyderabad, Sanjay Sandhu, just today passed through Pathankot and Udhampur today. He would be reaching Patnitop as I type this. Police eveywhere and they are not allowing big vehicles. He was let to pass after he requested the Army and police there. Hope he will be reaching Srinagar tomorrow.

The situation in kashmir region is fine.. But the region around jammu is on boil at present.. Good for him that he was allow to go..
but for the rest of riders, best would be to avoid that route for the time being.. Why to place our lives in risk..

I agree. The situation was under control. The police are allowing vehicles at dusk. The army and police wouldn't have allowed him if the situation was not in control. The Udhampur - Srinagar highway is okay. The areas around them are tense, and thats what I was told, even in HVK forum.

Ya, after mid way to srinagar, everything is normal..
The highway is mostly in the outer area of jammu city, so that would be fine for the traffic..

I too want to get leh'd badly.. But don't know when my dream will come true..
hopefully in the coming years..

Recently Hyderabad's weather's turning out amazing and what better way to enjoy it other than a short road trip and a nice road side dhaba G2G.

I've been here for 2 yrs now and haven't come across any xbhpians. So lets plan a Hyd G2G on one of the weekends.Probably the weather will be in our favor and not rain.

Guys give in your suggestions for the route & date.

We'll do a quick trip >> followed by breakfast>>get to know the biker brotherhood of Hyderabad and call it a day.

What say guys?? Sounds like a plan...

Sadly only fraction are active in this particular thread due to Facebook frenzy.
