medak/pocharam lake if you are interested in doing a speed runOriginally posted by theironhorse99 View Postguys any rides planned for this saturday..
me and another ceebeer rider planning a ride ..
still looking for places to go to open up the engines a bit ...
suggestion for places to go... 300 km -400 km round trip....
planning to go by saturday early morning and be back by late afternoon..
if anyone intrested we can plan more..
nagarjunasagar/srisailam/warangal are quite a few places you can vist in one day,but my suggestions is to wait for few more weeks i.e after or during monsoons to enjoy the places
if you havent been to vikarabad/anantgiri hills it will be best place to cover in half day,but the round trip will come to 200 odd kms!
nice to see some activity going on after some really long timeOriginally posted by murlidhar View Postam not a Facebook guy at all.

If you want speed runs, why do you need places? Take NH7 on either side of Hyderabad. Most of the good places have only two-lane roads. And please be cautioned that don't get carried away by the speeds. Our four-lane highways throw you surprises frequently. You need to be ultra careful at divider cuts and at villages.Originally posted by theironhorse99 View Posthave been to warangal... how bout medak/pocharam as you suggested for speed runs..

Though there is no water in Srisailam dam, the forests will be green now. The roads are good enough for 100 kmph speeds with great caution.HH Karizma (Current) || CBF Stunner PGM-FI || Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler

Another place for one-day ride is Bidar Fort. Approximately 170 kms from Hyderabad. Roads are two-lane with good traffic. But, you cruise at 80-90kmph most of the time.HH Karizma (Current) || CBF Stunner PGM-FI || Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler

hi all .
planning to go ananthagiri hills near Hyderabad tomorrow i.e, 8th July.
this will be my first long trip on my scoot vespa lx125.

anyone who wants a small trip away from the concrete jungle is welcome to tag along with me.
probably will have lunch there itself. ( let me know if there is anything good nearby to eat)
just PM me for more details.

take care all.
ciao.

Saw an amazingly modified CBZ Classic today @ RP Road, Secunderabad. Bike was Black/Red with Honda logo on its Tank and CBF written on the small panels. Some racing exhaust, Open Chain, Clip-on handlebars, and very wide rear section tyre (don't have any idea about the exact size). The bike also had Volkswagon horn.
The bike looked real good and was in mint condition. That guy must be a huge fan of the CBZ classic to modify/maintain it in such way. Does it belong to anyone from xBhp??From variable Bhps to a constant 17.6 Bhp.

finally! : )
made my first long trip on my vespa to ananthagiri hills. : )
i liked the drive except a few patches with bad roads.
was just cruising at around 60 without putting too much on the engine.
i just finished the break in period before leaving for ananthagiri hills.
the scoot behaved good too. i am sure i will make some longer tours on it in future.
average speed turned out to be 50km/hr . considering the bad patches where i had to keep the speeds of 40 to 45 the average speed was good.
i believe more in journey than destination. really felt good absorbing the surrounding field views.
.....
will someday plan for aruku tour.
if any guys have any plans for aruku tour and have a place to tag someone with your ride group then please do let me know about it
haven't taken pictures much cuz i just have a phone camera and to capture such beautiful places one needs a good camera.

Nice-looking scooter there. I like the color too. Glad you have enjoyed the trip . There is a bad patch between Moinabad and Chevella. Its bad for scooter's suspension, but we flew on those patches on bikes, and I thoroughly enjoyed that stretch doing so.
Ananthagiri is a beautiful place. You could have taken more pics and posted here. Sometimes, quality of the pics is not in cam and its in the person who clicks it.
You want to do Araku trip on Scooter? Its not that you can't do, but its not very comfortable for such a long ride.
You can check my Araku trip here, if interested.
Please join us for the G2Gs and rides we do in future.
