The reason being that it will take some serious planning as we are from 2 different places

1)No of confirmed people
2)evening/night food.Are we gonna cook (this will involve taking utensils & stuff which can cause new set of issues) or take individual parcels.
If so than from where & when.Food taken in morning would definitely spoil by evening because of heat.
3)I donot have a place in mind w.r.t the pitching of tent as I have stayed only at tapole & pratapgad in tent & not anywhere else in MahaB.
4)Booze (this will be the easiest one to arrange

) but ice & cold drinks for people will pose another problem
5)firewood (can be gathered locally ) but helps to take some if you want a long lasting bon fire into the night

3) a couple of pages back MG was telling that he'll checking for a suitable place.
4) cold drinks to lekar hi jana padega

5) it wud be really difficult to carry it all the way from pune/mumbai.

Ok let's finalize the plan first. We are reaching there Saturday morning (others will come late) and roam around Mahabi. So the tents can only be set up by evening/night which means DK have to roam around with 3 tents on his back

. I'm game for preparing food for all 10-12 people but that will require carrying a lot of extra stuff so not viable. The best option is to have dinner on round basis as I guess we can't leave the tent unattented

Already answered above. We can buy snacks and stuff in decent number so that it last over the night because no one's going sleep in the night

First part is not my department

The weather is not so condusive but bon-fire never hurts. We can figure it out that day.

@MG/DK: Camping can be done at flat lands of panchgani, the city is few Kms from there so ice and stuff is managable we can carry disposable plates rest can be managed i.e. getting the food prepared and take it to location where camping place is...

@MG: Where is hydro's name??

@Spidy: will you be coming in the evening group or morning one??

I am not going to carry any load

I will put it on Bewda Or Shadowboys back

& You don't need to visit earlier .saturday is enough time to scout around.

Mostly we won't head into too much of interior territory so that "essential" stuff gets readily available.

Vishwas was eager but he confirmed in the morning that he won't get permission. Tenhut was there in the initial plan so I guess he is in. Just want a final confirmation from him and his name will be there. Don't know about others.

I have some formal & informal training in that seriously

I mean identifying & catching them

rest can be left for inder & beedo to decide

ps:a guide requires some of these skills to survive ;-)
