    Sorry Biru, I couldn't reply on gtalk, so I'll reply here :

    Camping isn't my thing so I can't come yaar..had it been someone's house with full on AC, I would've been the first to arrive! Anyway, no rides for me till monsoon starts; or ends for that matter.

        So who all are coming from Pune tomorrow morning and from Mumbai?

        @Mumbai guys-What is the meeting time tomorrow morning? I guess the meeting place will be as always Panvel McD?

        Edit: Got it. Bhailog 7 is late considering the fact it gets too hot by 9 itself. Mumbai-Mahabi will roughly take 2hr30minutes - 3hrs in a group

          Mamu sone de yaar---thoda late chal jayega no issues.

          btw where are pune+mumbai guys supposed to meet (common point)

          for us the NH17 is much cooler route

          also a request guyslease bring nylon string whoever has it (kapde sukhane wala) so that its useful in tying stuff to bike & also during camping.

            Most probably I will be joining you guys bt still tentative.

            Meeting Point 1(Morning):The meeting point can be the place where if you are coming from Pune side you need to take a right turn for Poladpur. This place is just around 2km after Venna lake.That section is always empty and cooler because of dense forest.But I'm not yet sure whether any Pune guy is coming in the morning or not?

            Meeting Point 2(Evening): vv This place is ideal

            When one is coming from Pune side once you complete the Panchagani ghat section you see this flat piece of land on your left hand side. This place will be very difficlut to miss and we (The morning guys) will already be there.

            What say?

                I was almost 99% out of this g2g but now I can give it a try.
                I was supposed to ride to Pune for some work today evening. Trying to postpone it to tomorrow. So if I ride to Pune tomorrow then after finishing my work I'll think of riding to Mahab to meet you guys. Will give a call to somebody to know your status and will meet directly at the camping point. But it's still 50-50. So let's see what happens.

                I'll leave Mumbai at around 7-7.30am tomorrow morning. So DK and guys don't get scared if a blue R15 overtakes you at 200kmph Of course that's if you people opt for the NH4 and not NH17

                      Poladpur ke liye NH17 se aana padega MG!

                      The flat land comes right after the ghats and can be easily missed. but I agree this is the BEST point to meet up!

                      I will be riding solo on the hyperbike :P dont want to spoil your ripping session!

                        MG.. The ghat where we climb to Panchgani is 'Pasarni ghat'. So, where exactly does this flat land fall?

                        (1) Is it between Wai and Panchgani (Pasarni ghat)? or between Panchgani and Mahab?..

                        (2) Is this area visible from the main highway? .. (which is good for meeting up,.. but not so ideal for camping)..

                        Can you point the location on wikimapia?
                        Here's the general area

                        Can you zoom in over the actual spot and provide the link here?

                            place is good.hope clean watersupply is nearby.
                            can pune guys meet us at mangaon or mahad & than together head off to mahaB.
                            but it will be too long if only heading to panchgani.
                            what to do

                            Hydro:u do have a tent too right?coz we will require it.

                              Should be Wai Unless he wants to ride your style :P off road then reach a point somewhere on NH17 and say lets go "right" to MahaB

                                that comes on the right (while coming from Pune) .. and not on the left..
                                also, that place doesn't have trees .. as in MGs pics ..

                                so I guess what MG is suggesting is a different place
