Please suggest good routes to take my motorcycle (FZ 1 N) for rides around Mumbai....or if there is a group i can join.

As you see most of the rides are planned and details are put up on mumbai offline g2g thread so keep a eye on it all the time.

About the routes around Mumbai for small rides following are the fav,

Lonavala (Around 170-180 kms round trip) NH4
Igatpuri / Kasara ((Around 200 kms round trip) NH3
Malshej ((Around 230 kms round trip) NH 3 / NH 222

If you want to just have fun in around city early morning on long stretch of butter smooth tar road then "Palm Beach road"

The kasara /igatpuri section is heaven but one needs to be more cautious as generally the throttle can be wringed the full way.........and may cause trouble with poor villagers crossing road!!!!!

And BTW,Sunny that exhaust is LOUD.When I said 'Loud',I mean it!Man,that sound note was music to my ears while riding.At once,when you revved the throttle fully in that traffic,hahaha,people were sticking their heads out from the windows like 'what the hell was that'!!! :-P

I want my "that" superman pic uploaded ! Its so awesome ! I've paid freaking 250 bucks for that ! and yes the exhaust was loud, but no it wasn't a music ! Trust me, I couldn't hear anything except for that, not even the vehicles behind me honking ! and dazzler was slow cause of his leaking fork(?), but whatever, a day well spent and a ride well accomplished cheers !
