Oh Freak... What a Day..
The Rajmachi madness finally ended after 12 hours(for me that is). Reached home an hour ago. This is undoubtedly one of the craziest rides I've ever been to
Though I didn't take my own bike, I enjoyed every second of it.. lol
Great riding by Mastermind ji. Hats off to your enthusiasm
Thanks a lot to every one. Had great time.
Spoke with Tushar sometime ago. Some guys are still on their way home. Melroy's bike had some problem. Both - front and rear rims bent at JNPT. They were getting the problem fixed somewhere near Kharghar. Hope everything's fine now
Crash of the day was Winsey's drift king dance and then the fall. Lol.. Sorry, couldn't resist Winsey
Dude, you were awesome man. Did really great today. And thanks a lot for your waterproof camera. It was really handy in those rainy conditions.Originally posted by crazySID View PostHmmm, am suddenly feeling adventurous, someone carry a rope please

The Bullet sank:P
It was an EPIC ride
and I want to dedicate it to SpiderWeb for its Epicness!
On the return journey the RTR had a problem with its stator and so couldnt power up the light. Had to ride in extremely low light from Ghodbunder onwards as Alankar and Winzee were kind enough to go via Fountain! THAT was one CRAZY experience too!Super CommuTOURer - Talk less, Ride more

@Winzee, appreciate your help on the return leg, esp. while passing the main stream, honestly that stream was the only part of the ride i was worried about, because of the low ground clearance of the dio.
@j4zb4, good job getting the rope, it really helped.
@first timers, since this was your first ride I don't want to sound harsh/rude. Also I won't be pointing fingers so take the foll. comments with a little pinch of salt. Discipline was good for the most part but near lonavla (after the tunnel) there was very little coordination, everyone kept breaking formation, overtaking one another and at times almost running into other riders/cars. That why I had to just let everyone pass and ride separately. Riding in a group is much more difficult and is a skill you need to work upon. I am not an authority on group riding but one should at-least ride in a way that does not endanger fellow riders. Hope that next time the coordination is better."To accomplish much you must first loose everything" - Che Guevara

^ That sounds like the great Winzee raised his arms and the stream split and Manas could ride through it!
and that asides I agree! Even while climbing people startes over taking each other! do not do that ever in a formation!
I think Rajmachi for the noobs would have been a good learning exposure on how to balance better on bike and ofcourse the control on throttle and braking. While climbing many wringed open the throttle which only dug slush pits and making it difficult for the others begind. Paddle when stuck in a puddle
and DONT give up are some great lessons that we learnt!
Kudos to the blue p220 guy who almost gave up while climbing but then soon figured out his way and was more confident in coping up with slush and AFAIK didnt spill.
And a special vote of thanks for Krishna aka Professor Biker for being the only puniete coming for the ride, AND ofcourse for falling on pitts and levelling them for us :PSuper CommuTOURer - Talk less, Ride more

And as for the first timers tere were a few odd incidents but I guess thats why they are first timers...
Overall they were riding well and were disciplined... On the way down from Rajmachi I was a bit miffed at this gs150 guy who wanted to overtake and finally overtook me at a very narrow place... Thankfully we didn't crash...

To those who have attitude... My middle finger salutes you...!
