korlai is good -- around 60 kms from panvel

as you cross the revdanda bridge & come to a fork with police chowki there's a small right which takes you to korlai

small climb of 25-30 mins on steps takes you to the top

it's surrounded on 3 sides by sea & offers good views

& also for the likes of nunu to do his antics

here's me 3 years back on 1st of jan 2009

Tower dada was suggesting either go ahead from shahapur or from kasara into the jungle towards malshej...ketan dada (who apparently seems to have taken sanyas from riding) was suggesting korlaigad...

A female friend of mine wants to come along...korlaigad from alibaug doesnt seem much far and good for photography...if it would have been just we guys the jungle thing seemed good...

Anyone accompanying me to Korlaigad ? Or want to suggest some another place ?

However Korlaigad seems too good...havent been to alibaug too since quite long

Oh my god! These pics are nostagic. Reminds me of how beautiful Maharashtra is. Makes me feel like sceaming Jai Maharashtra ! Delhi is dismal and cold .

Rough Plan

Day 1 - Mumbai to Ahmedabad (Night Stay - Reach and Search basis)
Day 2 - Ahmedabad to ROK to Nal Sarovar (Night Stay - Night Stay - Reach and Search basis,if there is any.Else we will visit Nal Srvoar and come to Vadodara for night stay)
Day 3 - Nal Sarovar - Vadodara - Daman (Night Stay - Reach and Search basis)
Day 4 - Daman - Mumbai

The whip won't stop Beeru but it will certainly give him some interesting ideas post his pegs. The noobs better watch out. Veterans, I want videos. We shall cut a movie called Kakkar ki Jawaani aur Beeru ki Shaitani.

Day 1: Thane to Udaipur > via NH8 >> Distance: 735kms
Day 2: Udaipur sightseeing
Day 3: Udaipur to Jodhpur > Udaipur-Ranakpur-Kumbhalgarh-Pali-Jodhpur >> Distance: <300 kms
Day 4: Jodhpur sightseeing
Day 5: Jodhpur to Jaisalmer > Jodhpur-Pokaran-Jaisalmer >> Distance: <285kms
Day 6 & 7: Jaisalmer and Around [sightseeing]
Day 8: Jaisalmer to Ahmedabad > Jaisalmer-Barmer-Dhorimana-Sanchore-Disa-Palanpur route >> Distance: 535kms
Day 9: Ahmedabad to Thane > via NH8 >> Distance: 513kms

So far its only me who is confirmed for this ride and one frustrated super busy completed dedicated to work guy in tentative

Buggers :P.Kakkar is traumatized since his last visit to Rajamchi and needs some medical (prolly herbal ones) attention.He was acting weird like that kid in 'Tare Zameen Par' :P

Thats why,we all are going Daman.Otherwise Daman me kya rakha he
