Is this a closed group ride or open for a willing co rider? if yes, i've also been planning something on similar lines.. Can you please share the dates?

No. This is not a closed group ride and you are free to join.
only thing is that the ride is still tentative and the dates are not fixed. So it could be a last minute notice this weekend or maybe next weekend (depending on the approval of my friends leaves at work).
will let you know as soon as anything is confirmed.

BHIWANDI junction – NH3 Asangaon-Shahapur Kasara Ghat Igatpuri (Bypass) Ghoti Turn Right for Sinnar Kopargaon Junction Yeola head straight to Vaijapur AURANGABAD.

If you decide to stay in Aurangabad city then please try Hotel Tourist. Its 5 mins away from Aurangabad railway station. Reasonable cost and decent food. Wish you all the best for your ride.

I dont want to spend more than 400-500 rs per night per room.

Last year, when I had been to Tarkarli, I got a real cheap place to stay. @rs500 for 3 of us. I dont remember the name of the place, but I can direct you there.
Once you cross the gate of MTDC@ Tarkarli, go straight till you get to a T junction (about 300 meters if i Remember it correctly). You need to take a right and follow the road. You will find a cheap place to stay there.
