Proves that no amount of caution and alertness on our part can prevent an accident. To all those who ride without care. This is a lesson.

One of my friends too had an accident on his P200 recently. Why? cause some Splendor idiot was speeding at a non-sginalled crossroad. Agreed my friend too was at fault. Anyways, he wasnt wearing any gear cause he believes its not required when your riding around your home area. I hope he learnt his lesson. He got some elbow bruises. All I could do is advice him. I can't go to his house and make him wear the gear. Pretty much like how you can only tell an alcoholic/cigarette addict to stop, but can't really make them stop. I know its cumbersome to wear full protective gear everywhere. Hmm this is a topic of debate. I really don't know what the solution is for short rides.

Apart from that, guys, we need to think of something here. Personally, I feel citizens should be given the right to bring un-adhering cops to book. I mean, WTF! How come they ride without helmets!

We should start something here. Cause only when they follow the rules, will they stop road users who do not comply with rules.

              • Talked to Marcus.... hes been prescribed bed-rest for around a month, he cant sleep, cant sit straight.... hes at home sitting in a slopy angle, and sleeps in the same way.... extreme back pain... right hand is unmovable as of now, his 5-6-7-8-9-10 right ribs have fracture and right shoulder plate dislocated. His parents are pretty happy (and depressed also) that hes back home from that dreadful night road incident. He sounded pretty depressed, but still was trying to cheer up himself, and told me to arrange a G2G kind of thing at his place soon. I am going to Marcus's place tomorrow evening, let me know if anybody wants to tag along.

I was out of xBhp for some time and came to know of it only after you messaged me...this is crazy yaar...AFAIK, this crash was due to the front tyre suddenly bursting...rite?

This once again proves the importance of proper footwear on the bikes...had he been on tubeless tyres, it might have been a different story...

I wonder when will these crappy manufacturers wake up and provide tubeless tyres on bikes (knowing that most of them are capable of decently serious speeds). The likes of ZMA, Uni, All HH series, Bajaj Avenger series, don know abt Yamahas, RTRs...all need tubeless tyres...

                    What say bros?

                              • @NV: totally agree with you man! but we dont have enough exposure that is needed to make them realize whats the importance of tubeless tyres n other safety features on these Urban Fast bikes.

@ketan: Man that night we did him an X-ray at Lok hospital @ thane. they told us that he was totally fine. Even the fall was at very low speed @ 50-60 kmph., so I told you exactly what i saw n knew.
