One Day Ride to Sula Vineyards, Nashik

Date: Sunday, 2nd June'13
Meeting Points:
6:30 AM: Lodha Complex, After Majiwada Flyover, Thane
6:45 AM: Bhiwandi bypass, Kalyan
Total Distance: 300 kms (From Meeting point in Thane)

Ride Plan:
We would be riding all the way to Sula Wines, Nashik which opens at 11 am so we have loads of time to reach there. We would be having breakfast probably at Kamat's on the way before we reach Sula. Break at Sula would be probably for an hour for the tour (might cost 300-500 INR) and wine tasting (if anyone wishes to taste the wine) before we start the return leg. Lunch on the way in some nice dhaba and back home.

So jealous of People having holiday on Saturday too

Yeah, ride with big bikes for early morning breakfast is like going to watch a 3 hour movie and back.
Started the ride at 6 am and back home by 9 am. Very short run - Go till Charoti, eat breakfast and return - close to 200 kms ride. But gets you started nicely for the day ahead.

I have been unlucky when it comes to weekoffs initially in my work life but from the time I moved project internally I have got weekends off and I try to make the most of it.

I am going from goregaon, Is it not better to take Jogeshwari - Vikroli link road instead of ghodbunder road ?

Thanks Sachin. I went through page 1, I got a problem with the riding gear. I got LS2 helmet, riding gloves and shoes of course. I got a Wrangler sweat shirt, that I use for riding.

Would that be enough?

just in case u didnt know... sachin has his laptop / kitchen / work / home / gym / garden / everything fitted on his kwanja... so long as he is on his kwanja, woh kidhar se bhi kuch bhi karke kidhar bhi jaa /aa sakta hain

believe me... i will be riding @ exact half of that speed in dry & a quarter of that speed if its wet, for this ride. pls do join us if u have all the riding gear. in case u dont have it, pls connect w/ folks around ur proximity [refer to post #1 of this thread - locate a link to share your gear - pls do the needful] & join us thereafter.

close to 200 kms ride. But gets you started nicely for the day ahead

oldies like me walk 6kms early morning to get us started... u ride 200kms to get urself started... i can only nod my head in a 'yes yes yes...' reading that
