Looks like the Gods have blessed us with no rains for a few days... Enjoying bike to office daily.. Riding on dry roads after a long while..

Hi guys, need some help.

I want suggestions of where I can make a two day trip sometime this coming Mon/Tue/Wed - Day 1 leave Mumbai in the morning, arrive at destination by noon, stay at a relaxing resort/hotel and leave on Day 2 late morning back for Mumbai. I went through the places near Mumbai thread, but couldn't really find anything with the below points to consider:

- Am a new inexperienced rider with just 500 kms under my belt. Bike is new, will be getting 1st service done day after.
- Will have wife as pillion.
- Destination should be about 75-125 kms.
- Safe & manageable for a 1st ride out of Mumbai. Roads not too messed up because of the monsoon.
- Idea is mainly to enjoy the ride and relax at a resort, but if the place has a fort/waterfall etc ... it's even better.
- Roads, am familiar mainly with NH-8 to Gujarat and the Expressway to Pune.

Suggestions to any place welcome, as except Lonavala and Matheran, I haven't really seen any other place in recent memory/ever.

Try planning your ride to Alibaug...or daman...but you need to strech on some more kms...
