Count me in for the Sunday ride. I need to confirm the location of the meeting point. Is it the Majewadi McDonalds were referring to ? What time do we meet.

I will be riding a KA registered P220.

This will be my first g2g in Mumbai.

Upper Vaitarna reservoir near Igatpuri is a very nice place if you're the kind of person who likes 'alone with nature types'. It is around 30 kms after the ghat section ends.

Sure mate, Its actually easy. Once you pass through the Igatpuri town around 10 kms you get a major right turn which says ghoti town and it is a bypass too. Go past this point and in another few hundred meters there will be a small left turn and IIRC it has a small arch too at the entrance, take that left and from there on it is just one single road which leads you to this place that too which is of those 'country roads types' . @saurabh.jain : u may try vihigaon or upper vaitarana. u also may take a detour to malshej [i read that the roads have opened now after the last weeks massive landslide] or just head to bhandardara instead. u may also try the ghatandevi temple of the golden pagoda enroute. however, if its the riding pleasure u r seeking then a ride to igatpuri & back will quench ur thirst for sure!

We'll most probably be leaving thane by 6:45 and then it's a leisurely ride to kasara, what with the N300 doing it's running in.... we'll be getting there when we get there... but get there we will...
