Hello to all the Mumbai Bikers.. I am new here and really looking forward to ride along with you guys.. just that i need to buy a good riding jacket and knee/elbow guards.. so if anyone can just guide me as to which jacket brand should i buy and where in mumbai can i buy it at a reasonable price.. also mention the brand of the knee guards as well.. Here's a description for why we are signing the flaglets.

Since this is not an exclusive xbhp events you can call your friends as well for the meet.

In all probability if we have sufficient numbers castrol is arranging media to be present to interact with us.

Guys, saw a Rynox jacket today(i guess stealth was the name). 6.2k is the final offer the guy has made. Worth the buck?

Please check the Universal thread for Riding Gears for reviews as it's a very new jacket and dunno how it fares.

AFAIK Rynox has only 1 jacket which is a touring one that I had tried few mnths ago. It isnt apt for city riders but will be a good alternative to DSG n RJays.

In the 5-10k range, Spartan is unbeatable with Knox armour and all. Suggest you try the Helios- a very good city jacket that will cost approx the same as Stealth

P.S. I didnt get what you meant by final offer. Is it a pre-owned?

Thanks. The jacket quality is good with good armor. It also has a spine guard. Final offer means, he quoted 6699 for the jacket, but said he can give it in 6200.

As stated a few pages back, please make yourself available on 15th august at 7 am at MacD Kalamboli.
Agenda is to sign the flaglets meet up have breakfast.
Ride to waterfall or dam can be done if people are game for it

Guys please go thru page 2 of 12th August's Times of India.. Cops in Mumbai have been charging stunt/speeding bikers during weekends... Requesting all biker brothers too be very careful and not to over speed or drive rash...do carry all the documents all the time... I'll upload the pix of the news tomorrow...

Wear the jacket, sit on bike and try your posture.

Rynox comes with extra thick protectors which seems good for protection but they give body pain in city rides where you have to move your body.
The Spine Guard is Exactly double of SPG, DSG, Cramster, Rjays Swift and so it does not bends are your back / spine and thus a bit uncomfortable.

What are the documents needed for bike registration..?
my cousin has taken admission in a college there in mumbai and wants to buy a bike next month.. He lives in a rented accommodation..
What documents he needs to have for the RC ??

I have read about the 15th Aug plan and would have loved to come, but then i just joined in new here and already have some planned commitments for 15th.
Also after a lot of research, it seems that the riding gear will set me bak atleast by 8-9k, so i kind of need some time to buy it. So mostly next month, next trip would surely be joining you guys.
Anyway I hope you guys have a great outing and do post pictures, would love to see them. Bike safe. Cheers.

i just bougt mine few days back, they asked for rent agreement with Police verification, permenant address proof and 3 photos thats all.
also i've paid Rs.1700 for RC as dealer said it need to be paid under the table to RTO officials for RC as we do not have permenant address proof.
