Just loooovvvveeeedddddd the kumbharli ghats, was insane on them. Forgot eveything else in the world and it was just me, my impulse, and the curves. Just one bad thing, scraped my left shoe due to leaning.
And saurabh, dude you were doing awesome cornering on your 200ns in kumbharli. That was simply wow.Not all who wander are Lost

she was way way gruntier @ insane ghats of simla > kalpa > tabo > kaza
replacing the piston assembly is approx. 40% of the cost she would fetch, if i were to sell it!
thought it's better to keep it status quo!
@DeVille : sure will ping u when i go there for the booking.
infact came back from the LBS dealership just now.
got a formal quote as well for the Kawanja650
cost: 4,49,467/-
comprehensive insurance: 11,185/-
RTO Registration: 37,590/-
Octroi [ex-thane]: 23,502/-
Grand Total: 5,66,744/-
Waiting period [this hurts the most]: 120 days! [this is like WTFFF!!!]
Now comes the toughest part... convincing wifey!
@param0504 : super pics man! :-) way to go!
@Traveller01 : thank you for the kind words - @ the worst am a solo traveller... am no writer by any norms ;-)
@param0504 Beautiful pics. I am glad some of you actually clicked pictures.
whymail - Regarding the bike quotation, I think this is with normal insurance. I strongly suggest to include Zero Dep Insurance in the quote when you buy it. It will cost 2800 INR extra however it is a life saver in case of a mishap. You get 100% cover.

Re: The Official Mumbai Offline Meet(G2G) Thread
@amit_ss125 : hedavi! the shree ganpati bappa temple there is superawesome. i've always found the peace & tranquil around the temple premise to be intoxicating. we were really short on time, this time around but i so wanted to visit hedavi & lote parashuram - especially since we were so close to these places on 11th & 12th - incidentally, 13th being akshay tritiya - was also shree parashuram janma-din. sadly, couldnt make it. mebbe the next time. it also has special importance for us "kobra's" too!
@Sachinnair : super crisp & stunning fotos there baba. may i please 'steal' the last 2 wherein i am visible? my wifey was demanding that i prove my presence @ the trip. merely showing presence of my bike in 1~2 of the fotos i'd taken, was not enuff to convince her... good gawd... these women... !@#$%^&*()

oh n btw, is there any chance of yet another weekend sortie before the rains set in? just thinking aloud
