All coming for Velneshwar ride -

I propose to change the meeting point of this ride from McD, Panvel to Start of Palm Beach Road (Under the Flyover) because I think we can avoid 20-30 kms of bad roads on the way from Panvel to Vadhkal Naka. There is another route which I know which is shortcut and better way to reach Vadhkal Naka.

Are we all okay to meet at Start of Palm Beach road (Under the Flyover)? Below is the picture of the place where we all can meet.

i guess the route u suggesting is the palm beach road > seawoods > lake dps school > uran road > gavan phata chimer road > dighode > dolghar > hamarapur > govirle > pen > alibaug khopoli road > wadkhal one?
sounds good although i dont know the condition of this road as on date.
perhaps posting a google maps link of the route u suggesting will help?

Yes, I guess we are talking about the same route. From Uran road once we hit the T-Junction, we take the right turn and then the immediate left turn.
Regarding the start point, you are right, it's the under bridge flyover between Sion - Panvel & palm beach road.

I will share the GMaps link of the start point for everyone's convenience shortly. But let's change the start point please to avoid hassle till Vadhkal Naka.

I will be coming from malad and taking the road towards vashi...correct me if im wrong the place u hav mentioned is after the vashi flyover...near inorbit mall...will hav to take first left detour and just below the flyover we all meet...

u r right.
u come over the vashi flyover [that has vashi plaza on your left & vashi railway station on your right - while ur back is towards mumbai & ur face is towards sanpada :-)]
after u begin decent on the vashi flyover, keep left - the road below the bridge will merge with the flyover [this patch of the road is right above the palm beach road]
just 50~100 meters thereafter u will encounter an exit on your left side - its a near-360 degrees roundabout that will take u directly below the flyover & bang on the palm beach road.
thats the point of rendezvous!
once below, ensure that ur ride is parked well in a safe zone & u urself are safe as well.
palm beach road is notorious for 2 things:
- nincompoops who ride their bikes & drive their vehicles like complete retards gone berserk!
- pandu's that will harass any & every 'fully geared' motorcyclist as if he was about to carry out a multi-million dollar heist!
