Been to Saputara & Vasda National Park last weekends, no animal no wild life found there except The Bat, Cow, Dogs, Buffalo & Antelope. :P

When this happened
I mean whether this was xbhp ride or private ride because I am not able to see any invitation for this ride.

Don't know If it was a Private or not, but 2 out of 6 people were new for me, 1 was partially new & 2 was jigri ...

Thanks & glad you are here, one thing wanna ask you ... Mumbai to GIR is ~800 km... possible to reach there in a single day ? hows the Road from karjan (Left to NH8) to GIR ? same as NH8 or NH3? Can we cruise at 80 there ? Bike would be like RTR, Karizma & CBR etc etc..

Yes I will post the details of ride 10 days before
generally most of the overnight rides are planned on 2nd or 4th weekend considering people who has1st and 3rd saturdays as working,

Also there is no point in posting ride one month before as per experience people get confused among the rides (possibility of multiple rides posted by different riders)

hence keep updated on this thread

roads in generic sense are very good in gujarat so I don't foresee any issues here.alternatively you can contact kaushik06 from pune who has just returned from the same sector to get latest updates

& it is definitely possible to do 800 kms --provided you wish to do the same in heat & wish to skip directly to GIR

Also have an alternate route....ride via NH17.....reach Poladpur...take left for mahabaleshwar.....amazing ghat full of twisties and amazing tar....except for a small 1-2 kms patch where the roads is under maintainence....but apart from that an amazing 30-40kms of twisties...!!! Shahbaz and myself did a ride together this month..to mahabaleshwar....we went via NH4...bombay pune highway....and came via NH17..
If you are going via NH4.....just watch out for a right turn after the Talegaon phata toll......which goes towards lavassa (Mumbai Pune bypass, that goes via Balewadi)......once u take the right.....keep riding along the road....for about 100kms to find a bridge under construction.....u will find a diversion there saying not to take the bridge....just below the bridge take the right to head straight towards wai...panchgani and mahabaleshwar...!!!! Cheerss.....!!!
