I have been following quiet long and few days i get busy and suddenly there's this g2g planned.
Seeing this too late though.

Been really long to anything xbhp lately.

Seems a lot of married people around hi guys me too married guy.

though i still do rides occasionally as time permits and also the convenience of having company.

Ha ha ha... yes we all had a good time... full on time pass, bhankas, hawratpana (about pouncing on starters, just the way hyenas are seen doing on a fresh hunt, on discovery channel ;-) ), dancing to the tunes of honey singh and gangnam style, etc.

All in all it was good fun.

Being married, I had to return home like a dutiful husband... so 2 of us from thane started at 2315 hrs n reached home at 0014.

As for the unicorn bit, it's a far better evolved, confidence inspiring and refined ride than what the avenger is.

U can ride the unicorn comfortably to sub-100 speeds but touching even 80 on the avenger is an effort. Engine vibrations ne ga##d fatte. :-) ;-)

I also know another guy near ghansoli station Nasir Bhai....does an amazing job on Enfields. If u plan to visit him do lemme know...il call him up and tell him bout it...a fren of mine goes to him for the service of his Enfield

Yeah, I visited the Mahim guy last weekend. He directed me to a Carburettor Specialist at Grant road. Unfortunately that guy has been off since two weeks now.
If you can, please PM me the number of Nasir Bhai. Would be of great help. I asked around a bit in the Grant Road two wheeler market as well - but no one seems to have bigger pilot jets for the Carb. Someone went to the extent of suggesting me to change my carb. Weird.

I guess it was. It had a run down shutter, paint chipping off, a phone number that I couldnt read. Had a "Since 1951" tag. But yes, I think I saw something like "Accurate". He is known as Doctor or Salim in the neighborhood.

just 2 points:
1. mumbaikar's do not call beer as daaru - beer is gatorade for grown-ups that helps grown-ups flush out their kidneys & bladders a few hours later. so, beer, in mumbaikar's terms is a different kind of ayurvedic medicine!
2. 'overnight' is a subjective term - we all were, technically @ the g2g, overnight ;-) [well past midnight] & hence, we have complied to all the laws of engagement of g2g.
'nuff said!
