This Saturday I am riding on following route Thane - Kasara - Vihigoan - Deogoan - Ghoti - Thane

Total 260 kms approx.

Road conditions include Highway + Ghat + Village roads

Will be starting ride early around 5:00 AM from Thane.

Currently only 2 of us are confirmed, both in run-in so we will be riding with speed restrictions.

Anyone wants to join please let me know...

Never wanted to push much in rain.

My chances 50-50.
I'll confirm later.

But if wet road and Ghat curves like those on Nasik way to Sula Wine.
I'll be dead slow.

Sumit, We will be riding on same road towards Nashik... however while going we will leave the Kasara Ghat and enter internal road towards Vihigoan... On way back we will be riding on highway

Depends on your riding speeds. Will it be around 70-80 kmph?

65-70 kph is what you can expect considering the fact we are in run-in and weather...

60 kph to occasional 70 kph maximum

Bhai aisa kuch hai to waterfall please

Dehradun, Uttrakhand ke chore chote waterfalls dekhe bhi bohot time ho gaya.

Just ride and ride & back to home won't be a good idea. :P

Aarvi beach u r talking about is on the way from diveagar to shriwardhan. From mangaon reach mhasala good road conditions.take right turn towards diveagar nice ghat n good road condition. The beach is mostly found lonely n not much hotels around except 1 or 2 shacks. Clean beach . N shriwardhan would be just 3 -5 kms away. Enjoy diving at Shriwardhan n a ride along arvi

@chinmayakar - I used the NH 17 upto chiplun about 3 weeks ago and theres a lot of road work in progress along this route upto Mangaon. Due to this there are a lot of "not so well marked" diversions. About the route after you turn right from NH 17, i have never heard of it being in a good condition. I hope this helps.

Thank you guys for replying back. I have changed the plan to go to Aaravi Beach, we are now going to Diveagar, booked a resort there. Reason for this is there are 3 couples and 2 kids, and the one resort in Aaravi has no reviews. Would have been a gamble with so many people on board. Will probably check out Aaravi and the resort there this time while touring Diveagar and Shrivardhan.

Any advice on road to be taken after Mangaon?

After mangaon ride till mhasala about 35kms then take a right turn towards diveagar road. Road condiyions are beyter compared to straight road of shriwardhan

Riding in monsoon . U will come across many small waterfalls on the way. So enjoy ur ride.

The only problem visiting Vihigoan Waterfall is we will have to park our bikes at a distance and walk for good 15 mins.. walking is no issue but somehow keeping your bikes out of your sight in middle of village filled with notorious children is something I have problem with... Every time I go there I have to bribe then to keep them away from bikes

As far As sight seeing goes internal road itself is amazing with greenery all around and we will come across many small waterfalls... Deogoan has a huge lake however i have never been there...

But How about just having a stop there ?
