edit:- Anyone knows the road & traffic condition in Kumbharli Ghat ?? Its been on my list for a while now.... and since we are going that way (till chiplun) i am thinking of coming back from Karad (NH4). Though depends on what time we start our journey back and of course on any update on road condition.....

no no, i am not saying that we can or should visit all these places on this trip. its just that the old memories came alive. to do all these places, we at least need 4 days. most of these places are in vicinity of each other. we had managed all these places in one trip of 3 days. but if you want to spend good time there and enjoy the nature then 4 days are must.

and yes, chittapavan amhi pan that place always brings peace to my mind.......

and thanks in advance, please let me know about the road condition in Kumbharli Ghat

              Guys,

I'm seriously considering installing a Givi box (tail) on my CBR250. With ATGATT I get tired carrying all the gear everywhere I go, which almost doubles if there is a pillion. Also during commutes there are cases where I need to carry items which just wouldn't fit into a backpack. Plus the added boon during monsoons. For these reasons I think the Givi box is extremely practical.

Looking out for opinions, especially from DK (or Tushar?) who has/had one installed on his CBR. Any issues with it?

Also, where I could I get a good one installed from in Mumbai?

Wow, thinking of getting one for my impulse too. But will use it only during touring, i guess it will hassle free for impulse cuz it has a special extension for such boxes. How much does it cost? and also how much weight can you put in it?
