oh well 8~9 hrs is not that long especially if u start @ 6.30 from bombay?
as for family pressure... u need not say more... i completely understand... i am facing "wifey's pressure" as well.

every evening we talk about the same thing - that is... she talks, i keep mum & listen [thankfully, i am hard of hearing & can hear her talking if & only when i have my hearing aids on] - u would readily understand this situation if u are 5+ years married.

if u r single, u will soon go thru this once u r single no-more. LOL!

infact, that's the reason why my status on the original thread about this trip, even @this minute is 'tentative'
but then i'm an eternally spoiled hopeful - i think she will eventually budge & give-in to my maniacal stubbornness.
so long as i return home alive, i dont think she wud care ;-)

try n convince ur parents about the fact that there is a group of 10 riders & 8 of them are married to @least 2 or more women & all have 5~6 kids each.
that will swing the baton in ur favour!
give it a try... miracles do happen!

as for the whatsapp group... i dont think there is one.., if there is, @least i am not aware of it.

Most probably accommodation will cost between 300/- to 400/- (food not included).

Is it? i couldnt find it at first, all i was able to read was some 'sending back home' thing, yeah its approx 4 years i had my last eye checkup so i guess i need to see the doc again

@ Viks - I was trying to convey how Pune thread is about regarding safety gears, since Mumbai and Pune had decided to follow the same pattern long time ago. Acid spilling, dude I come in peace. your message is conveyed, thanks. by the way, i learnt a new phrase from this thread, acid spilling/ acid spewing, wow and yeah satyen, i dont sweat at all while riding continually thanks to the air (even if its hot), never felt that dehydration in a 'not a single break' ride from mumbai to surat, gujarat, maybe some 200+ kms that was, in mid april. Not at all arguing against you bro, you were just busting a myth but these days a point of view is termed as an argument. What you said may technically be true but still depends on body to body, trust me you will be a little surprised when you meet me, i bet on that. Not bragging.
I just hope this thread doesnt start getting holes in it or gets burnt up due to the acid i just spilled . just kidding. Again, all stands resolved from my end too.

Hey everyone coming for the ride, how many of you like chocolates? I make good chocolates (not as good but satisfactory and hygenic) and will be getting the ingredients for the same on maybe 8th may as i have decided to make chocolates for my birthday (15th may), so will be making some 60-65 chocolates approx for the ride, so as of now it will be 5 chocolates per person, but let me know if anyone wants more or so, will cook happily. n yeah its free. lol
