I guess upgrading to a Duke 390 is the natural process for most Pulsarites... i must compliment the riding posture of the NS200 tho :-)
Incidentally, after Kumbharli, enroute to Karhad, we passed Paatan - which was when i remembered u [due to ur last name], last noon!
As for the pics, those are all that i cud click. Sachin & others have clicked a few - lets wait for them to upload those.
The traffic between Satara & Pune was insane... i felt as if i were riding from Mulund to Kanjurmarg on Eastern Highway in peak hours!!!
As for the Kawanja650 - i plan to book her in June / July so I get it by the time rains are over... had had chitchat w/ Sachin during the trip abt his experience of the bike.
Funniest part of the ride was the speed [or rather the lack of it] @ which my Avenger ran thru the whole journey.
Everybody was waiting @ various nav-points, allowing me to catch-up! I cud notice the expression on some of the folks faces saying... "abbey yaar... thoda toh jaldi aaja kaminey. Aur kitna wait karwayega garmi mein saale! ;-)"
100% of the time I was playing the catchup game.
the heat... OMFG... paseeney ki dukaan bhendi sab junta!
My Avenger excelled tho, after we started from Khandala Kamat's Green House @ almost Sundown. The powerful headlight of Avenger allowed me to ride her, even in pitch black, @ her top speed... 60kmph! :-)

Thanks for sharing Shashank ! Regarding Patan - Many think that I am from Patan because of the resemblance to my last name. Anyway, my situation is not much different than yours. My P180 UG2 has a top speed of 80kmph. It goes till 100 but then after 80 it feels as I am grilling it to the core. And that was one of the reason for me not attending the bigger rides with the regulars here. I know they would have accomodated me but still. Saying that let me check if I can make it to the one day sortie to the Sula vineyards atleast. I think the first Saturday of June would be great, what say ? Overnight rides are freezed till August....
And regarding a new bike - Waiting for my finances to get better... Don't know when will that happen.

Hey guys i know its toooo early but i will be riding to kutch (gujarat) in the second half of december this year, and thats for SURE. My nephew owns a guest house in bhuj so no worries of place to stay. Have not planned how many days it will be, but will do that in november, so people who want to join in can pm me, so we can plan things together in november. I just want to know who all are interested. Will repost this in november though

Nyone riding nywhere this weekend?

A fully geared couple riding one a red Karizma (with HID I guess) with saddlebag started from Mumbai around midnight. I was overtaken twice by this bike, once near Dara's Zest near Kalyan Phata and then again once just before Kasara Ghat about 1.5 hrs back.

Anyone amongst us? I couldn't socialize since I was a Cager for the past 20 hours.

Anyways, whoever those people were, here's wishing them a safe journey.

its gonna be a while.
Looking for a property to invest in, before I book the kwanja.
thats what i am doing on weekends these days - visiting resale properties in thane & pune (almost finalizing on one near cummins college or another one on the baner road)
once that's taken care of, i will head str8 to the kawa dealership & get the thing rolling :-)

As of this moment the 8th plan is just that... only a plan. However if u two are on, so am I. Some say 2 is company & 3 is crowd. I say the more the merrier as far as rides are concerned. Assuming that nobody else turns up, even the 3 of us are a group enuff & we will still ride :-)

Hi All,I am new owner of CBR 250r (abs version) and she is still in the break-in phase. I am also new to mumbai and dont know much about the city... so taking this as an opportunity to explore and also munch some miles too... I have gone through the thread and could not find any specific G2G meet for cbr owners in mumbai. If there is such thing, please help me with the link; also I would like to know the venue and time for the GTG.Although, not new to biking, I am looking to learn and know more from experienced folks here. Further, there are few doubts about the Zoomi (I have a habit of nicknaming my ride...), which I would like to get sorted.Let me know... Thanks guys...
