Documents
a. Valid Driving License: MUST have and carry at all times
b. Bike Registration Papers: Original or Attested Photocopy
c. Bike Tax Certificate: Original or Attested Photocopy
d. Bike Insurance: Preferably a comprehensive insurance, personal insurance would be a plus.
e. PUC Certificate: A valid PUC certificate; especially if touring along with the group to pollution sensitive/monitored areas.


Safety Gear
a. Helmet: Has to be in good condition and preferably ISI/DOT certified
b. Thick Jacket/Riding Jacket: Must have inbuilt armour or external armour is also allowed
c. Gloves: Must cover vital points like knuckles and wrist. Cut/half gloves not allowed
d. Knee Guards: Either bionic or regular flex type. Should be worn inside trousers if non bionic.
e. Riding Boots/Sports Shoes/Army Boots: Anything that covers the foot well.
f. There is nothing that can better the protection of a full leather suit (if affordable). The preferred and most recommended piece of protection that your money can buy. Not compulsory though.

Its been a while since i have posted here...things here have changed drastically...change for good is good...but what i can see here now i dont like it...

this community was amongst the few biking communities where there was no barrier regarding type of bikes or bikers...i do understand your "just this time we wanted to have a p220 only ride"

No objection on that part but if its "Pulsar only bike ride" which has been created on fb why bring the event on a public forum where there is no RULE of riding a particular bike ?

Secondly and more imporatantly I can see the event on FB is a open public event so random people have been invited (who might probably turn up without any riding gears) and there might be a problem.

I personally dont know anyone from the people who have posted this. Are they responsible enough to be riding in the name of xbhp?

Bro dint mean to offend anyone. Andas I said in clearlyin my post its not like we don’t like other bikes or other bikers and it’s notlike we are saying that this is the only bike to have. Just for once we wanteda Pulsar only ride. If I offended anyone I am sorry for it. And Nin if you readclearly we changed the rule to pulsar only any age any breed. So that’s a bitmore broad then 220 only. What I and some of my friends were trying this because pulsars are common so maybe such a ride would work out. And I did say riding gear is needed but ultimately its the rider who has to get it. Its just a leasure drive. If you would like to join us we would be happy bro. And again Sorry if this offended any one..

@pavan when is the pendharkar g2g happening ? My camera is ready..and so is picasa,photoshop,paint and what ever is needed..we also need a thread to be put up with pictures of lidless riders posing,bhaji,wada etc etc in all the possible angles

Anytime man. I will be in the official backup car. Another option is that we take only one bike so that the pillion can utilize the time to the maximum to click pics.

I think what Nin is saying is this: Do what you want, Pulsar only, p*ssy only, no-underwear only - whatever gets you off. But when you post to THIS forum respect its rules and philosophy. There's an 'X' in 'X'bhp for a reason and it goes against this community's philosophy to exclude anyone. Ditto with safety gear, if you want to ride with people who aren't mature enough to safeguard their own interests that is your call but don't use this forum to advertise such rides. And no I'm not trying to offend you either.

As i said all bikers to me are brothers regardless of the make of their bike even ct100 is ok with me. I have nothing but respect for all true bikers. I dont know what else has to be done. Do you want me to officially cancel the trip. If that is what need to be done as a punishment for the offence I may have caused to anyone then I am willing to do it. And we are using riding gear. If you use the xbhp forum to organize a ride its YOUR responsibility to ensure that everybody is geared. There's no if's but's and because's on that because every time somebody made an exception somebody got hurt or worse and every body is sick of hearing "unfortunately","could have been avoided","wasn't my fault if he was stupid enough not to wear his gear",.

I was not justifying my side at all and I am apologizing. I dint have anything in heart when I set up the ride. It was an innocent mistake. And Agree with you on riding gear. Will keep your points in mind when seting rides for the future.

Hey Guys sorry if this seems a bit last moment but I and a few friends were planning a Pulsar 220 only ride to Lonavala tiger point. Its just a leasure drive and we are planning to start early in to morning. and come back by late afternoon. Guys with pulsar 220 please join us And feel free to bring your friends. Only rule appart from normal rules are pleas Pulsar 220 only. Not that we dont like other bikers but just this time we wanted to have a p220 only ride. Changing the rules as per requested .. We are allowing all pulsars now.. Would be fun to have all pulsar brothers together

Bro Already made the phone calls to Cancel the ride. Even cancelled the FB event. It seemed to offend everyone so thought cancelling it would be best. It was an honest mistake. Will always crosscheck rules and every-ones feelings in the future.
