I was going through this travelogue on xbhp couple of days ago and it started something like this... "A Biker's Itch! All of us, the bikers, know what it is.. The symptoms and the Cure! That aching desire to mount on your steed and Just Ride!... "
Well that's so true and that's exactly what happened yesterday. My bike was idle for past 5-6 days as I wasn't commuting on it. The desire to ride was just too much and I couldn't resist it anymore. And the cure was simple - Just Ride!
Started off from home late in the evening..well the obvious near by destination is Amby.. But it's too common now and by the time I reached Lonavala it was nearly dark so there was no point heading up towards Amby. Visit to Shirgaon temple was long pending so I pushed ahead towards Shirgaon and visited this beautiful Saibaba Temple. Reached home late night after a small 260+ Kms ride.
Riding time is back.. Climate it fantastic after sunset. Lonavala was nice and cold. A crucial road update - There's a huge a patch of gravel at the left turn on JNPT, the junction near that big lamp post, where we turn left for Toll plaza while going towards Pune. This patch is right at the exit of the corner and can't be seen until you are just few feet away from it. Can be dangerous! So be careful.
Didn't click much pictures as all I wanted to do was Ride! Still here's one of the pics of the temple..there are couple of more pics and a video which I'll upload soon..
Ride safe!
Ketan Nikharge.

Saw some riders off panvel McD.Nice riding gears n all . But what the saddening part was that some of them had pillions along with who did not even had helmets , forget about other safety gears. This goes as a message to them if / if not a member of xbhp , when riding please follow the protocols of this group. There are not just people watching you on the roads but also some members.

@vishal - Congratulations mate.Just flick the switch and twist my wrist
The beast comes alive, bringing me back to life
A tap to shift and flick of the wrist
The beast takes flight bringing me back to life
Kill the silence, tear apart the dark
The beast rips the road, hell yeah, i feel alive.
