Hey Guys sorry if this seems a bit last moment but I and a few friends were planning a Pulsar 220 only ride to Lonavala tiger point. Its just a leasure drive and we are planning to start early in to morning. and come back by late afternoon. Guys with pulsar 220 please join us And feel free to bring your friends. Only rule appart from normal rules are pleas Pulsar 220 only. Not that we dont like other bikers but just this time we wanted to have a p220 only ride. Changing the rules as per requested .. We are allowing all pulsars now.. Would be fun to have all pulsar brothers together

Meet point is Shilphata / Diva Naka where Nh4 meets kalyan Shilphata road.

Its been a while since i have posted here...things here have changed drastically...change for good is good...but what i can see here now i dont like it...

this community was amongst the few biking communities where there was no barrier regarding type of bikes or bikers...i do understand your "just this time we wanted to have a p220 only ride"

No objection on that part but if its "Pulsar only bike ride" which has been created on fb why bring the event on a public forum where there is no RULE of riding a particular bike ?

Secondly and more imporatantly I can see the event on FB is a open public event so random people have been invited (who might probably turn up without any riding gears) and there might be a problem.

I personally dont know anyone from the people who have posted this. Are they responsible enough to be riding in the name of xbhp?

There are now under 200kms ride with thousands of pics

There are now mini groups where the entire brethren is neglected to sneak off to some random ride where half the people are not even inculcated in safe riding techniques

This is cyclic as been observed over the past few years & the only way is to gather all the new names & head out to ride -- atleast what is observed & learnt is passed on downstream & we don't face what is happening time & again

Additionally the mantle needs to be passed on -- not everyone can be active on all the tours for so many years -- boredom, repetitiveness,other responsibilities wont let a few individuals to be available all the time

& what futhermucking lyrics -- absolutely loved it

c. Bike tax certificate: Original or attested photocopy
d. Bike insurance: Preferably a comprehensive insurance, personal insurance would be a plus.
E. Puc certificate: A valid puc certificate; especially if touring along with the group to pollution sensitive/monitored areas.


Safety gear
a. Helmet: Has to be in good condition and preferably isi/dot certified
b. Thick jacket/riding jacket: Must have inbuilt armour or external armour is also allowed
c. Gloves: Must cover vital points like knuckles and wrist. Cut/half gloves not allowed
d. Knee guards: Either bionic or regular flex type. Should be worn inside trousers if non bionic.
E. Riding boots/sports shoes/army boots: Anything that covers the foot well.
F. There is nothing that can better the protection of a full leather suit (if affordable). The preferred and most recommended piece of protection that your money can buy. Not compulsory though.
