As of this moment the 8th plan is just that... only a plan. However if u two are on, so am I. Some say 2 is company & 3 is crowd. I say the more the merrier as far as rides are concerned. Assuming that nobody else turns up, even the 3 of us are a group enuff & we will still ride :-)

but am sure that other regulars from mumbai will join in soon. there are 2 friends from pune who are joining too.

Hi All,I am new owner of CBR 250r (abs version) and she is still in the break-in phase.

as for the g2g... pls keep watching this space...
u may pls join in on the 8th june ride to sula vineyards. dont worry abt the running-in period. my 5yr old avenger goes @ the same speed @ which ur cbr will go during the run-in. besides the point, we ride but we dont race :-)
pls pm me ur cell # and we will connect on the next planned ride. also if u want, i can help u with akkha mumbai ka rasta as i got rusted & wasted here. welcome aboard my friend :-)

Why 8th June? I was thinking of 2nd June for riding to Sula. Any issues riding on 2nd June? We can surely postpone but only if many people cant make it on 2nd June.
It's just a one day ride so I am sure everyone would not mind riding a week early. Would you?

i dont mind on a sunday. if it were a saturday, then i have 2nd & 3rd saturday's as off days - hence was mulling on 2nd saturday. 2nd june looks ok to me as well. i will start on 1st june midnight [for reasons well known to u already ;-)]

On a serious note, would prefer 2nd, lest the weather gets damp on the 8th

Actually, I was hoping it would rain once or twice by the time we visit.. A friend visited the sula a few weeks ago and he said it there was nothing much to see there, just barren landscape and stuffy afternoon weather..

a list of guys who are kind enuff to share their gear is mentioned
- locate folks closer to ur area
- call them
- borrow the gear
- use it responsibly for the ride
- clean it up once u r back
- return it to the owner w/ gratitude & thanks...

One Day Ride to Sula Vineyards, Nashik

Date: Sunday, 2nd June'13
Meeting Time: 6:30 AM
Meeting Point: Lodha Complex, After Majiwada Flyover, Thane
Total Distance: 300 kms (From Meeting point in Thane)

Ride Plan:
We would be riding all the way to Sula Wines, Nashik which opens at 11 am so we have loads of time to reach there. We would be having breakfast probably at Kamat's on the way before we reach Sula. Break at Sula would be probably for an hour for the tour (might cost 300-500 INR) and wine tasting (if anyone wishes to taste the wine) before we start the return leg. Lunch on the way in some nice dhaba and back home.
