  • Please suggest a good beach on Konkan - max 400 kms

Hi Guys, need help regarding the Konkan trip that I plan to do next week. I have 5 days off from 16th to 21st June. Hence I plan to undertake a roadtrip with my wife in my car to the Konkan.
I have already been to Dapoli, Diveaghar, Shrivardhan on this stretch a lot of times.
Hence, kindly suggest me some other beach that is around 350 to 400 kms from Mumbai along with names of good resorts that provide
    1.clean rooms,
    2. good service,
    3. safe car parking,
    4. bang on the beach and
    5. most importantly GREAT seafood.
Please chip in guys as any inputs is highly appreciated.

        Look for hedvi.

You can stay at suruchi corner. Right next to beach with parking facility and good food. U can visit the famous dashabhuj ganpati temple and other places such as velneshwar beach and guhagar.

Will try to source contact details of mr. Abhay bhatkar of suruchi corner.

Bordi was a tiny little place in the middle of nowhere with nothing particular to do. Not everyone's cup of tea, but it is awesome if you like that kind of thing.

There is a Maharashtra Tourism resort there which is on the beach!

First 4 points are properly covered, 5th i assume will be good, but we had actually gone and enjoyed the Parsi food. The most amazing dhansak i have ever tasted. It is cooked to order.

Water lodgings in all low line areas of Mumbai. Please let people know who are traveling. Trains lines are shut too.

Heard about landslides at malshej and lonawala.

                      Plan properly and then leave.

                        • Suggestion Required for getting Duplicate Invoice

                          Hi Experts,

It would be of immense help if anyone can help me in finding email id of Bajaj Probiking Showroom in Vashi.

I have tried Bajaj website to find the dealer's contact but in vain. Since I have relocated to Karnataka with my Maharashtra Bike, I have to pay LTT for my bike. Now to calculate the LTT Karnataka RTO requires invoice copy of my bike which I have misplaced. I have tried to contact customer service of Bajaj Auto and as per their reply I have to get in touch with the dealer. I am not sure the if the Probiking Center still exists! How can I get the duplicate copy of the Invoice? Any other way if anyone can suggest?

                          Regards,
                          Saumyadip.

                            • Is the Non-Polluting Vehicle sticker received from manufacturer (Bajaj) valid as PUC certificate?

I live in Mumbai and have purchased a new bike. My dealer told me to keep the original sticker with me. So I am assuming it must be valid. I don't want to pay fine when it can be avoided by doing a PUC check beforhand.
When it comes to riding gear, you can either :
                              A. Not wear and look cool but be stupid; or
                              B. Wear it and look stupid but be smart.
                              Your choice.

Any new vehicle within 1 year of manufacture is considered to be PUC checked at the manufacturer. If you want to be doubly sure, you should keep the original sticker with you. After 1 year, you need to start getting the PUC checks.
