Re: The Official Mumbai Offline Meet(G2G) Thread
Beware, Lavasa is more a ghat than a track as you must be aware!Originally posted by rcboy View PostAnyone up for lavasa tomorrow morning or day after im new in Mumbai don't know anyone who rides ...felt this is the right place to ask ...
Aim of the ride - conquering those brilliant twisties I have heard so much about ..and of course the usual chai/ snack./dhaba
Execution - leave at 5:15 -5:30
Properly geared (jackets gloves helmet min.)
No rash / immature riding
Rc is a track spec. Bike , lavasa twisities is what comes closest to that . so all of you who just commute on it daily maybe it's time to unleash its brilliance.
Pm me if you up for it.. cheers
My RC is still in run in period else would've accompanied you. Do let me know if you wanna catch up around western suburbs>
RIDE SAFE

Re: Desperately looking for a good mechanic in Mumbai
Try Reddy in Goregaon, behind the old maruti showroom on SV RoadOriginally posted by 18pcs View PostI live in Bandra Area but am willing to travel if the guy is good and reliable. Have tried PR Enterprises at Mahim the guys recommended by RE, but am not satisfied as they just add up charges. Even during free services they charge for things like Bike Wash (150) and Chain lubrication (100) !!!.

Re: Desperately looking for a good mechanic in Mumbai
There RE ASC at Sakinaka which is better at least doesn't charge what it used to. I was client to Mahim's ASC but the service has dropped very low since Sameer has stopped coming.Originally posted by 18pcs View PostI live in Bandra Area but am willing to travel if the guy is good and reliable. Re: Desperately looking for a good mechanic in Mumbai
i know i'm a little late in responding but you can look out for a small mechanic shop near the airplane garden in santa cruz west, near the baandh naka signal. the lane opposite to the baandh naka road, there's a RE Mechanic named Anthony. he's good. i've seen him work. he takes his time with the bikes and doesn't skimp on work. give him a try is you want.Originally posted by 18pcs View PostI live in Bandra Area but am willing to travel if the guy is good and reliable. Thanks bro, you are not late in responding. I will definately try Anthony out. Santacruz West I presume, not East.Originally posted by IronWing View Posti know i'm a little late in responding but you can look out for a small mechanic shop near the airplane garden in santa cruz west, near the baandh naka signal. the lane opposite to the baandh naka road, there's a RE Mechanic named Anthony. he's good. i've seen him work. he takes his time with the bikes and doesn't skimp on work. give him a try is you want.

Re: The Official Mumbai Offline Meet(G2G) Thread
Hi all,
apologies if this post is in the wrong section.
I am planning a mumbai south india - mumbai coastal road trip in january, was wondering if anybody's interested.
The tentative route I was thinking about is:
Mumbai - Pune - Kolhapur - Bangalore - Kanchipuram - Pondicherry - Rameshwaram - Kanyakumari - Kochi - Munnar - Mysore - Goa - Mumbai (via Coastal highway)
This is just an initial plan, number of stopovers, route and duration can (obviously) be adjusted to suit everybody who is interested.

Mumbai-Mahabaleshwar-Goa. Looking for a travel partners.
Good day guys.
I'm planning to go from Mumbai to Goa next weekend (about 28 November). Or in the next dates. I'll ride by motorbike. And I'm looking for a travel partners for this ride (with your own bikes). Also we can make not one day trip. We can go to Mahabaleshwar (for me it's more preferable), make a stop for a night (or two) and for the next day continue to go to Goa. If somebody plans to go to Goa by bike in the same dates, please, let me know. Or maybe u know where (forums or something) I can try to ask this question. Thanks.
