No worries man. We leave no one behind . And if you keep coming for g2g's you'll be able to hone your riding skills and become a faster rider. Fun g2g overall. It was nice meeting some new guy's too.

And guys, next time please let there be all bikers at the scheduled meeting time in the morning, and not just three We can definitely learn a thing or two from the Pune guys

Was a fun 1st g2g. Was great meeting ALL OF YOU. The best part, of course, was the twisties & the scenery not counting the cross winds! And seeing sooo many biker groups was heartening.

A little mood dampener on the return was a fall because of some sand and road cut, thankfully, was at 10kmph at that time & in traffic. No injuries, but small scratches on many places on the bike And the pack I was riding with in front didn't miss me, but special thanks to Ashwin - Easy Rider (two riders thanking you today!) who came up and was with me till I fixed the crash guard & throttle and then rode together till Sion.

(Any suggestions on how to remove the scratches from the plastic parts? Chrome parts I can polish up. Also, the throttle got pushed/rotated totally, so it became like twisting the hand in the front to accelerate. I forced it back to normal...but now it won't take too much force (won't happen in normal riding though) to get it inverted again. Is this a problem, or is it normal??)

There was a short bridge just before the tunnel and the cross winds were so strong the bike was literally shaking. I was flabbergasted.

I was with you guys till the signal after that huge up & down Belapur slope. Lot of bikers rushed when the signal turned green, I was adjusting for one bike (you must have seen that purple Harley Superlow rider with half faced helmet, half cut gloves with the yellow LS2 helmet pillion) and before I knew it I went into the road cut, a small hole, lots of sand & I knew I was going to fall . Before Ashwin came up, another group immediately helped me up, they even felt I was riding with them to some rendezvous nearby!!

Btw, why didn't we take the Palm Beach road, a little longer, but better road, non-congested traffic.

I guess we need to teach the Harley guys how to ride . Saw a Harley on EEH riding in the extreme right lane at 60kph. That guy was inviting risk for himself.

As for the route, i was just following the guys who were ahead of me

For the damage to throttle, check the throttle response of the bike. If it is not proper or has some glitches, change it. Also, check the accelerator cable.

What happened to you with that Innova on the expressway on return?

Well, we all know streets are filled with idiots. So, he was one of them. He was driving in the right lane and suddenly came into the extreme left lane. He saw me in his rear view mirror, but still pushed me and i had to brake hard.

If you had noticed, it was a small turning section and he had parked his car on the left lane (where trucks and heavy vehicles generally drive). So, he again proved he was an idiot

Oh yes, on the return journey there were a couple of places where even my Thunderbird felt it, especially the first bridge open to wind from both sides, that comes after we wind down the two lane mountain road.

But, I loved the climb just before Lonavala, hairpins and with real 60 degree type ascents! And nice twisties to Lion point too ... your bike had stopped there, remember? I was behind you and had to overtake you very closely to avoid hitting you/stopping myself

Yeah , I recall. I came to a stand still on that u-turn. I need to learn from you guys on how to approach such twisties.
